No. Also, I meant that the RAM speed varies according to your work load at the time, so during gameplay it's probably the max that the motherboard + Ram can do, and at idle, it will be lower.

First, before doing this, go to start > type create a restore point and make one. Create button.
Then go to start > type regedit and right click and open registry edit as admin.
In the bar at the very top paste this

And on the left side find the folder key "escape from tarkov" and right click and delete that. It should already be highlighted.

Last time someone has had this problem, his IP was the problem. Once he started the launcher with a VPN, it worked. If you've the possibility to test it with a VPN, do it. And if you can, change your IP to see if it works

well, the problem is I'm already using a VPN, I'm on vacation in Europe atm and I think I left my generator on..... if I try to log in without a VPN it says something about access from your county is not available for your account. so I'm using a VPN to try to get back to the US so I can log in. sorry if it might be confusing, I don't understand either.

Hm, you can try to re-install the launcher with leaving the VPN enabled or reset it by deleting the two setting files it has, but I'd try a simple reinstall with US VPN on

This could be the problem. Like I said earlier, it probably wants to allocate more files than 19GB, which ends up failing. The only other thing he/she can try, is to download the whole game via the browser and see if the issue persists

You download the game via a link that changes with every patch, extract it with winrar/7zip and point the launcher to that folder that you extracted to. The link is not publicly available unless you know what you're doing.

That's the first link, then look for the actual files the launcher tries to download, it'll look like this /client/live/distribs/etc. Put both of them together in your browser and it should download the whole game

Have you tried to make the BE.exe start as admin as well? Also, reinstall BattlEye with the .bat files that are in your EFT game folder. If it still doesn't work, make sure no antivirus or your firewall is blocking the connection / files, better whitelist whole Tarkov location. You can also go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete everything in there just to make sure.

I have similar issues, use swampfox’s guide for FPS on YouTube it’s the most up to date and it’s great, if your game is still struggling then I HIGHLY recommend getting more ram because that fixed my game right up. Even with 16 I face harsh stutters but with just 8 more it’s amazingly better

There's no option to delete the payments in the history manually, nor is there a setting to let it be deleted after set period, so it has to be there.

Make sure to run both the launcher and game as administrator and that no antivirus is blocking any of the EFT files / folders. Other than that, you can try and delete the files in Documents\Escape from Tarkov. Keep in mind that this will reset your resolution and keybind settings. So if you want to keep them, back the two files up before deleting it.

Also, you can try to verify the integrity of the files via the launcher.

I have taken a break from EFT since last Saturday due to my SO being in town. Got back onto it today, and I have been encountering this bug where my game now, when Alt+Tab out of it, then trying to go back in, it flickers the game into windowed mode and then never opens up the game(Minimizes the window into the taskbar). It happens no matter what part of the game I am in, and pretty much makes it to where I can no longer alt+tab from the game. All drivers are up to date, and I have a EVGA 3070 and an i7-10700.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this bug?

So, here is what I gathered. Somehow, somewhere the game files and windows had a bad time and got corrupted. Even with a clean install, and rolling back to a previous version of windows, it still was freaking out. I did everything recommended, reset my computer. it wasnt until I fully turned off the PC and turned it back on, it said my SSD where I installed EFT was corrupted, which was something windows and EFT didnt pick up itself. This is extremely odd if the game suddenly starts using the one drive backup over the local version.

I'd disable one drive if possible.

You should be able to change all of the generic settings via the .ini file and then save it

The local.ini file is for your resolution settings, the shared.ini is for your keybinds and PostFX

That should not be. If that is so, your game is using a remote file on microsoft's servers as its config files.

Try to move both .ini files to another location and remove the read-only checkmark and then try again to edit and save them. Once done, move them back to the original location

It was once created in the OneDrive location when you set up Windows or something like that, it won't change the location automatically once disabled. But if you've disabled OneDrive, it won't sync them online, just locally

That's why you can just edit them via those two .ini files and restart the game. It'll take them from the two .ini files

just came home from work, installed the patch, went to play and my post FX and whatnot dont work

the settings are set to what i had them, but dont appear to make any difference in game, can put mouse sensitivity to 100 and it still feels like .50

even getting lag on factory cause it got my graphics all moron mode
never had any issues just yesterday

Just tough luck. I tried to send a message yesterday and it wouldnt work for some reason. But basically sometimes when i play tarky, my computer will just turn off. This only happens in tarkov and has never done this to me in any other game or app. The best way of describing it is like when you lose power to your house. The whole rig just goes silent. A few seconds later it boots up again.
