First go to start and type create a restore point and create one
Then open start and type regedit and right click registry editor and run as admin.
Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\LongPathsEnabled
Right click that key called "longpathsenabled" and go to modify and change the value data to 1
Then click ok and then reboot.
You should then be able to update with no problems.

If you do reinstall the game make sure you delete all datafiles (most games leave behind a config file in the event you reinstall the game. It's possible your config file is corrupted as well which would render the reinstall useless unless you do a clean reinstall)
Presuming your drive is C - may be different if you have multiple drives

C:\Battlestate Games

I highly doubt you should have to clear the registry so that should be all

I am not getting any stuttering since starting playing Tarkov (probably had it 4 weeks) with a 3700x, 16gb 3600mhz, and 2080 ti at 1440p. Performance isn't terrible, but could certainly be better. Usually just refreshing the page does the trick. If not, you can either use as VPN or renew your IP if you've a dynamic IP and are connected via ethernet. Sometimes Cloudflare bans IPs either because they've been misused in the past or just unusual traffic (VPN active) etc.

Well, there's the problem. There seems to be no generic fix for that, a couple of fixes worked for some people but for others they didn't. There's not much you can do on your end other than trying to disable IPV6, get a new IP assigned by your router (if applicable), flush your DNS, use Googles or Cloudflares DNS, play with a VPN, switch from Wi-Fi to wired and vice versa, try if it works with your phone's hotspot connection and some more.

Sounds like either a power issue or a graphics driver issue. I'd try reinstalling the driver with a clean install and, if not still, try Nvidia's studio driver as it's much more stable.

About the ALT TAB problem, clearing the game's cache usually fixes problems with that.

I notice some other player scavs have a different voice, they say more or less the same lines but have a different inflection and really lazy/gross sounding way of talking. Each player's player scav has one of a few voices like a pmc voice that you can't change and is randomly selected at the beginning of a wipe.

Everything you hear is server sided, the same for everyone.

Take a look at Windows Event Viewer if it gives you more details about the BSOD, should be a critical error. If it's just a generic error report, proceed by starting CMD as admin > sfc /scannow and then also do a memory check with Windows integrated tool.

Windows search bar > Windows Memory Diagnostics and let check for errors.

Hey i keep having this problem where i disconnect from raids but i still have connection to the internet. For about an hour I wont be able to go into any raid and will kick me out as soon as I go in and if i try to reconnect. I can still buy and sell off the flea and manage my inventory but I cannot go into or reconnect into a raid. The craziest part is that I will reconnect for a second maybe even a few and then immediately disconnect. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, it is a common problem with Tarkov for some, me included. I've fixed it by playing with a VPN all the time, others fixed it by disabling IPV6, changing DNS to Google's or Cloudflare's, but it won't work for everyone. There seems to be a problem on BSG server side, so you can't do much about it.

New player here... I am having issues where the game crashes after 10-15 minutes in the game. I know its about to crash when I see yellow (or orange) flashing in the bottom left or bottom center of my screen. I originally thought it was a software issue of some type. I completely wiped my computer re installed windows 10 and started from scratch to insure it wasn't a software issue. My PC is more than capable to run this game. Sometimes I am able to log back into the game and my player is still available to pick up where I left off, but other times I cannot access it again (mostly when I try SCAV runs).

That's about NVIDIA. What you can do, is to start CMD as admin and run these commands after each other > sfc /scannow > dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Also, reinstall your NVIDIA drivers. So completely uninstall them, and download the latest driver from the official NVIDA's driver website. If it still doesn't work after all of this, check your temps while playing and see if anything's overheating. Even though I doubt it's the cause of it, better safe than sorry.

Also, test your RAM with https://i.imgur.com/wUiIFzi.png or https://www.memtest86.com/ (more advanced). If you've two or more sticks, the best test would be to remove one stick after the other to determine if one of the sticks went bad. If you still get the crashes with all of the RAM sticks tested individually, it can't be the RAM.

Other than that, make sure your AV or Firewall is not blocking any connection from BSG. Or if you're using a VPN, disconnect from it and restart the launcher.

RAM doesn't have drivers or what do you mean by memory? You can check if you've any .dmp files in your Windows location C:\Windows\Minidump or just C:\Windows. Depends on which drive Windows has been installed. You can also check View Reliability History for more info about the BSOD, which gives you some sort of hint at least.
