1. Uninstall the game and the battle launcher

2. clear temp files: run %temp% and delete all the files there

3. Search Tarkov in the registry editor (command regedit) and delete all the files and folders it finds

4. restart windows

5. re install the launcher

6. run the launcher as administrator

7. Install the game

actually just join this server to ask about the server disconnects, It's really shitty cause if a connection drops off for even less than a second instead of rubber banding you it just kicks you right away and takes sometimes 2 minutes or more to get to the main menu then 2 minutes or more to get back into the game (my longest time to reconnect was 10 minutes). Even worse if It's a PMC run, like I have I think over a day logged playing tarkov but only lvl 6 still cause anytime I want to play It kicks me over and over, Then won't for a while just kinda happens at random.

My cousin is getting fps stutters on reserve and it only happens when raiders spawn. His game gets really slow and when opening an inventory it's take nearly 5-10 seconds. He has very good specs and he gets over 100 fps on every other map but reserve. Also this started happening after the update, is there any possible fixes to this?
Specs: 2070 Super, Ryzen 7 3700x, 16 gb DDR4 @ 3600.
the game is installed on an ssd, which isn't full and we checked task manager to see if its any usage problems but found nothing.

I'm going through the same situation right now on my EOD account. Seems BSG doesn't give a shit anymore about it's loyal customers. They're more focused on how to get more money. If they wanted it to be like an MMORPG, then they should've decided to charge a monthly fee over the one time payment. The email in response to my problem was a big fucking joke. "I'm sorry you don't have access to your primary email anymore, but there's nothing we can do on our end to give you access to your account." When BSG is the ones who disabled the ability to change your primary email on the website. Ggs everyone. Fuck bsg and I'll make sure I let everyone of my gamer friends know how they treated me. I could deal with the head,eyes 12ga scavs from 200+ meters away. I could deal with the hackers, the glitchy textures and terrible way the game plays 90% of the time... What I can't deal with is being scammed out of my hard earned $150. I'll never purchase another bsg title and I'll talk 100% shit against this developer for the rest of my life. If a company in America were to do half the shit bsg has done to it customers, then they'd be shut down 3 years ago. Enjoy what life tarkov has left.

I will tell everyone this... Make sure you keep a text file of all your in game names, a screen shot of your original purchase through your payment system, what levels your skills are and the day you purchased and setup your tarkov account. Without this information, you'll be unable to regain access to your account. BSG doesn't care what you've been through, they just want money. And it's clearly evident.

My cousin is getting fps stutters on reserve and it only happens when raiders spawn. His game gets really slow and when opening an inventory it's take nearly 5-10 seconds. He has very good specs and he gets over 100 fps on every other map but reserve. Also this started happening after the update, is there any possible fixes to this?

For anyone getting the "remote name could not be resolved error", just open Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network and Sharing Center>Change Adapter Settings (Left Column)>Right Click your Current Connection and select Properties>Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or something close with IPv4; then hit properties> Select "Use the following DNS Server addresses" and enter a DNS server you want to use. I used 1.1.1.1 which is by Cloudfare, and is measurably the fastest DNS in the world by some reports. You can also enter 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 which are by Google and are also very good. You need to enter a Primary and a secondary DNS. Then select Validate settings upon exit, and hit okay. It then closes the IPv4 window, for good measure I'll hit "Properties" again just to make sure it kept my preferred DNS server and alternate DNS server. Hope this helps some people. It's been giving me this error every time the past 3 updates, and the first two times I just reinstalled the game lol

This game is broken. I got that desync bug or something where the entire raid is delayed by like a few minutes for me. I can loot fine, but I can't see my team mates for the first few minutes of a raid so they have to stay around me and wait for me. I feel like shit for that. Have her submit an appeal through BattlEye, they handle ban appeals. As for refunds, no.

BattlEye is a separate entity from BSG and they have false flags unfortunately, but they are pretty good with catching the false flags upon appeal

It's been more than a month since I can't play Tarkov because whenever I try to start a raid, the loadings are working but at some point the game crashes as you can see on this picture (different messages from various tries grouped in 1 picture).

wasd, qe is lean, don't disconnect: if you have an issue shut down the whole game and then relaunch it, get used to the controls, they're super sluggish, don't run and then stop moving completely, you slide for some reason and take an hour to bring your gun back up, be ready to lose a ton of shit and endure lots of pain, but also be ready to miss that pain after you get better at the game, the game is super buggy so don't let bugs get you down, desync isn't actually a big factor, most people are just trash

Yes I have 55GBs and the installer said it only needed ~20. I used control panel to uninstall then went in by hand to delete the files, which were mostly empty folders, tried also restarting and cleaning my temp files.

When doing ADS my fps drop a lot and I'm not the only one that happens.

It means you can't establish a good enough connection with the server. Either something is wrong server-side or data is not good enough.

I am about to upgrade to 16gb of ram and I am wondering if it will make a big difference, my current specs are GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz, and 8 gb ram (about to be replaced). I currently get decent performance offline PVE but when I play online I get like 15 fps, will the 16gb make a big difference and does anyone have advice to increase performance?

You have to have the keycard on you even to go into a labs offline but an offline labs raid won't count as a use on the card

performance is just getting worse every update. "ooh but the game is cpu bound" well does not help when its using 10% of my 3900x either does it. 50% gpu usage on all maps. except woods. there i get 90% usage if im looking south-west and 50% usage if im looking north-east

TARKOV BROKEN, i tried to install update today and gave me an error "the underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel."

Ive tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but now i get that same error when i try to redownload eft from the launcher

Hey guys, I've played Tarkov until the last wipe then i quit for a while. Now i want to start playing again but when I try to login into the launcher it asks for a verification code that i would receive in my email. I've had to do this too on the web browser where it did work. But i dont get the verification email when trying to login via the launcher. I have googled for a bit but nothing works. You guys are my last hope, does anyone have an idea how this problem can be fixed.

I would guess the reason you get higher usage on woods is because it's a really large map, and it may have to do with the amount of things loaded in the buffer when looking in one direction vs another. Also, draw distance...

Also a lot of the performance is bound to the Unity engine, which they aren't the developer of, and it's a proprietary licensed tech, so they have limited availability for tuning based on what Unity gives you.

Also, I believe it's still on Unity 2018, which isn't ideal, but it's also not something you can just upgrade overnight as it could potentially break a lot of things outright. Just swapping it in would probably break their builds entirely.

There was a cryptic post on the forums from a developer that seems to suggest that an updated Unity engine may be coming soon, but I would take that with a grain of salt.

I bet if you asked BSG if they would use Unity now if they could go back in time, that they'd probably say no, as it's also most likely the root cause of a lot of the networking issues.

Also, it's scripting language is C# which is... an honestly hilarious choice on Unity's part... Honestly, I think it's incredibly admirable that they've made the game run this well on such a crap engine.
