@dusk arch Kills are 100exp, +100 more if it's a headshot (may be 150? Not 100% sure). Add looting to that and 300 is pretty easy to hit. You were unfortunately just a bit short. It's 300exp OR 7 minutes to avoid a runthrough.

I was in the large red container by the entrance to IDEA looking down on him. I aimed my crosshair at their head - no change in zeroing - and fired twice. Well that can't be the case, because it was in the notes a while back that it was changed to something under 200, idk the exact I just remembered that's it got changed to something in the 100's. And being a mainly interchange runner I have had plenty of extracts below 300 exp and under 7mins where I have had FIR/survived. So I can assure you it's been bellow 300 for a while.

Ah okay, TAA is really intensive so turn that down to FXAA. If that doesn't help as much, put textures quality to low but increase your visability to 1K @vast nova

Have you tried restarting the game? If this persists it’s either your GPU or you should validate Tarkov files or consider reinstalling

something happened to my sound. I was playing EFT all day, and then was just casually loading into another raid with my mate and sound got bugged. Now when I say bugged, I mean like this - my teammate was running in front of me, and the sound was like he was far away on the left or far away on the right, switching sides. It was like his char was moving but sound was coming from completely different angles. Same with grenade explosions. ooof, mate. You really need to replace your CPU and memory sticks. They are bottlenecking you hard. Depends on your resolution but even a 3600x or i7-10700k would do extremely well for the game. Your memory is straight up old and DDR3 is slow,really damn slow. You should get some DDR4 3200 sticks if the motherboard supports it. Your GPU is okay as Tarkov is CPU heavy, if you're playing on 1080P or below(GPU is alright, you could upgrade). If playing at 1440p or anything higher, you should upgrade

I can launch Tarkov, but it doesn't actually-load, and the Check for updates button brings that error alongside it appearing when I start the launcher.

Update 2: I cleared the cache, waited half of a minute and it allowed me to reach the launcher update prompt.

Update 3: Launcher update was successful, however the game fails to properly-launch. In Task Manager, the memory load number displayed(highlighted) ceases to change. Every other process functions nominally. Is anyone able to help?

borderless is a bad idea in general, you should instead use fullscreen. This game is heavily CPU dependent not GPU based but your I7 is good, weird it's causing lag. I highly suggest going to your ini folder and checking to see if the choices it has is correct. it's in C:\Users(yourname)\Documents\Escape from Tarkov local ini

it likes to set my ingame refresh rate to 23 instead of 144 sometimes so it can cause issues

low and high textures suprisingly don't cause a large difference in performance but the settings of HBAO, SSR or grass shadows can be really taxing. So is TAA

1: Stop the update -> Clear cache -> Restart update (You can clear your cache by clicking on your profile in the top right of the launcher)

Did it say run through when you extracted? If you extract too fast (under 7 mins) without killing anything then you’ll get a run through making everything that was found that raid lose its FIR status. It’s either this or one of the parts on it isn’t FIR (possibly the mag?) making the entire thing not FIR
