honestly, if you've already transferred your gear it is best to alt+tab and right click your task bar (far bottom row with your apps pinned) > task bar > left click eft > end task and reboot it. AFTER you've looted each and everything you want (if on scav) to your stash.

have you actually tried repairing? If the game can't download itself it's most likely a permissions issue so change your install folder to some place where you have full access and check anti-virus permissions

you shouldn't need hyper-v unless you're using programs that require it like Azure/windows server, most propriatary virtualization programs like vmware and virtualbox don't use hyper-v

@vivid seal my sentiments exactly. Basically all software engineers working on Windows will have be using Hyper-V. It is unacceptable for the game to refuse to work simply because a small number of prolific cheaters favored Hyper-V as a tool. The problem stems from there being a real-life incentive to cheat, and these efforts that unduly punish fair players deserve heavy reprimand. It's becoming exceptionally difficult to recommend Tarkov...

@vivid briar I imagine they do care. They will ultimately need to find someone who can implement counterstrike-tier network performance in a Unity game, which is non-trivial. The bad server performance is unforgivable, but most likely they lack the in-house expertise to effectively address an issue, and as a professional I can't blame them for sticking with what they know (more content) because it's at least one way they can keep most players pacified

Looking at it from a business perspective, it will probably take 1-2 hires at ~$120,000/yr/hire and 6-12 months of work hours to solve Tarkov's networking problems. It's not exactly an easy investment for any independent game dev

@astral viper it’s a known bug, when you are at the xp bar after raid on a pmc it will sometimes just let you click next endlessly it won’t do anything, so you just have to wait and it eventually goes to the heal screen

Damn, I'm not sure then! Usually that would fix the problem, at least in my experience. Try this: exit the game and locate the BattlEye folder located in the Tarkov install directory. Then run the batch file Uninstall_BattlEye. Now start Tarkov back up and you SHOULD be good to go. If you don't have any luck, I'm not sure how you should proceed. @ocean rain

I aborted the game, but still have my kit on. Its most likely an error when connecting, and corrupts your connection to the lobby. So have your friend kill himself, and switch servers for now.
