Im following a thread right now that hasn't had any moderator acknowledge it since last year (2019) AUGUST. Theres about 6 new pages of recent issues with authentication codes and no ones come to help.

Hello @surreal pilot There are many people with the same issue at the moment. All of them using gmx, web.de or mail.com addresses as far as I know (including me). We're all trying to get in contact with the support to change the situation. There are some threads in the official forum that are refered to the subject.

That's not really something BSG can fix as that's not an issue on their end. it's an issue on the e-mail providers end from what we've been told.

Guys, this has been more then discussed with the DEVs. The conclusion was that it's the messages are being blocked on the receiving end. They tried to fix this multiple times before but they can't do anything on their end.

You need to contact the support of your email service. Then, if they say that there are no problems (or you are unable to contact them), and if you still do not receive emails, write to us at support@battlestategames.com to change the mail to which the account is linked.
Attach a screenshot of the email service support response (or a description of why it is not there), a DETAILED description of the entire situation and the following data:

  • If you have made any purchases for this account, please send the screenshot of the receipt of purchase. Please make sure the payment system interface and Xsolla transaction numbers are clearly visible.
  • Also need a screenshot of the receipt from your payment system or online bank, with which you paid for the purchase.
  • The e-mail address that was initially used for registering this account, and account creation date.
  • History of account username changes.
  • If the account has access to the game, please provide the playable character name as well.
  • Any additional info that you think will prove your ownership of this account.

@marsh dome Because things change. BSG made a statement about it early December. People are using the spam button instead of the delete button to remove e-mail from inbox and that in turn makes the e-mails be flagged internally as spam as long as theya re coming from BSG. So even if it worked in the past doesn't mean it had to work forever.

Hypotheticaly speaking - what if it is not a problem from BSG neither of the mail providers? What if it is a problem from the provider or a system in the middle, that decided to block the servers used by BSG, due to a high traffic load to prevent DDOS or spam? So it might be the internet provider or a different instance?

@vivid briar Something is blocking the e-mails That is for sure. If it's your provider or something along the line well that is up for discussion but we KNOW it's not on the senders side by this point. They have looked into this.

That is unknown at this time. There could be possible fixes coming that relate to negotiations with the affected e-mail providers, for example, but these take a lot of time.

And if my theory applies - requesting all the auth-codes will make it worse as the data load remains on the same level - too high! This might be the reason the server got blocked from a superior instance and no one knows about it. Neither BSG, nor our mail providers.

@hushed oracle - they allow you to do so using a support ticket. The problem is: There is no guarantee that it will work, even after changing the address. This is a bit risky in my opinion. But it would be a shot

The simplest solution would be to add a phone number for an alternative authentication code if the email doesnt work. Thats how it works for many other game websites. Anyways the issue is getting recognition in the reddit and twitter post so I'm out.

I could of been. The EOD they gifted me started out as a press account while they were still around. I could literally be dealing guns every early wipe.

Hmm.. Well i'd advise you to contact Xsolla support before you contact BSG support as they will most likely tell you to do that anyway.

Just ask them if everything is alright with the payment or if something went wrong. When they say it's fine you can submit a support request to BSG with that from the start and that's going to really speed up the proccess.

During the last raid I got bullets and magazine stuck in the same 1x1 space in my inventory. I couldn't use currently equipped weapon / couldn't switch weapon / I couldn't do anything. So I've restarted the game, did not repeat any steps that led my to mentioned situation. At some point of that raid I had a gun fight that ended with small bleeding which I could not heal... because none of meds (bandage, grizzly, IFAK, Salewa) were not accepting by the game. Character in the raid just played an animation that it is going to heal, but then bring hes weapon back in hand... What the hell was that? I eventually bled out... this is so annoying because I've just found necessary items in raid...

"Regarding your issue with receiving letters from us, we did an additional study. We received a report from the mail service that you sent spam complaints to our system letters.

I am upset that I can't play either. But as long as we don'T have sufficient information about the case. All we can do is wait. The people are complaining and they are absolutely right to do it. But there are a lot of possibilities which may have caused the issue. This is all I'm saying. And I do agree regarding the support tickets. I've got two open myself and have heared only on one of them from a "supporter" - and believe me the things that he said to me weren't satisfying at all.

Would be nice to know that it's the bullets that do the damage, not the guns...
Would be nice to also know how things work, to get quests/tasks you speak to the traders etc...

When you load in, It feels like you have a ton of information just land at your feet like 40 encyclopedias from different languages just got dumped on the table and you were told to start reading with no direction...

When in reality, you have extrememly minimal information available in the item descriptions, and instead get told to go too third party sites to learn.

Hello guys! I recently did a run with my PMC in customs, and when there were 5 minutes left in the timer I decided to extract trough the old gas station exit. However, once I got there, in the little room with the gate and bunker door it didn't signal that I was getting extracted. So at 1 minute left I decided to run straight for ZB-1012 I think and extracted. However, since the old gas station did come up in my extraction points list, why it didn't let me extract from there? Was it because it had the ??:?? thing near the name?

In all honesty, I bought the game and now cant play because somehow the verification email for new hardware isn´t arriving, yet everything else comes to my inbox.

I´d like to atleast change the email asap or atleast fix your problem with the email going out.

YES i have been waiting 7-25+ minutes. so far my biggest record personally is 1h 26min waiting. i have no idea whats wrong with the server, people wanna say its because of a wipe, but its been how many wipes now? you would think it would have been fixed considering how many wipes have been done before this.

i9-9900K, 2080ti, 32gb ram, game is on an M.2 drive, no overheating issues, doesn’t happen in other games... I’ve crashed about 10-15 times since 12.9,this particular issue literally has only ever happened since 12.9.... it happened 2hrs in to the patch. My monitors checkerboard out, and the unity client crashes. It’s either going to send me to desktop, or hard reset my PC. Hardware monitor is running, I’ve tried reinstalling, I’ve tried different graphics settings, I’ve tried reverting the GPU driver... Nothing is fixing the issue... it’s totally random, and after losing about 1.5 million rubles on a scav run (the game crashed literally as I was extracting, so I couldn’t move the stuff to my inventory) I’m about at my wits end with this, some direction would be GREAT! I have a photo of the unity crash window that apparently uploads something and the. Goes away, but I didn’t see an error code, so here I am

I bought eft yesterday and whenever i am trying to play the game i get thrown out of the game by getting a message bad connection eventhough my internet connection is working perfectly fine. Also on the launcher when i go to select servers its shwoing me timed out for all the servers under ping section. Please can someone help me with this issue

this might be a better place to ask. i was told Nikita mentioned, in some podcasts (person who made the claim refused to provide link), that dropping a friend's gear is considered/to-be-considered boosting and could lead to bans. is that true? any more info on that?
