My game is crashing every time I load into a raid. I recently reinstalled my game. It has happened twice now.
I'm loading into night time customs, and I get stuck on waiting for players. I get a Unity error, and my game closes. I am able to relaunch the game, and re-load into the raid just fine without any complications, other than spawning in several minutes late.

There's a lot of different factors that can contribute to you loading slower.
An SSD would be the easiest upgrade if you're not happy with the loading time

Anyone else having issues with connecting to raid? Have sat in Interchange lobby 16+mins twice with a buddy, and never find a match, try to back out but just get spinney wheel of death and end up having to alt-f4, takes 5+mins to relaunch the game as it takes forever on the loading screen before it finally says "loading player data"

so I have been killed in the past 2 days by 5 streamers that were currently streaming. All 5 times the other players had no audio to his character for footsteps or any grenades thrown as this happened in one instance. It has consecutively happened when the enemy player has been streaming, is this a known bug or is there something wrong on my end that I can fix cause this is getting ridiculous

@small ledge I've had that happen as well. Couple things that you can try... If you have a dog tag case in your secure container - take it out.
Other thing (that worked for me) was to turn off auto-select and manually select a bunch of servers.

Unfortunately I have neither of those. (No tag case in my butt, have manual servers selected) My buddy is in mexico I'm in us-central, not sure if thats the issue because we've always played together just fine any other time, it was just this one isolated event

Hi i need help if there is someone who is knowledgeable about mobo/ram stuff
So i added a new ram on my pc. At first it works well even xmp is disabled. After 3 days of using it. All of a sudden my pc hangs up and doesnt boot anymore. Tried to remove the older ram and it worked. Tried to put it back it wont. BUT after i enabled xmp. It now works. My question is. Do i really need to turn on XMP profile so that it would run normal?? Or is there a way to solve this problem w/o turning on XMP (also i updated my bios already)

@coral ridge XMP allows your ram to run at the advertised speeds whatever that may be for your particular kit. It'll run at 2133mhz if it's disabled.
Its essentially overclocking your RAM with pre-built profiles

Since the 12.8 patch, nearly all of my raids (solo & group) get stuck at Awaiting Session Start or 00:00:00 in the countdown timer. Exiting the game and rejoining the raid doesnt work.
I've contacted support and tried all their suggestions, including:
Reinstalling, Checking integrity, Turning off antivirus, Launching as admin, Clear cache, Update drivers, Disable high quality colors option, Change servers.
I figured im screwed until a patch fixes my problem, just curious if anyone else had some possible insight. Thanks.

Since the last hotfix the ADD P4 scope has been modified wherein the scope portion was once capable of being zeroed independently from the red dot sight integrated on the top, but now when attempting to zero them both independently both sights are switched when either is attempted to be zeroed
Unaware if this is an intentional change, if so this is an incredible hinderance, as often times there is very little opportunity to zero your scope particularly in the middle of a gunfight.
I personally do not and will not attempt to use any red dot sight or holographic at any range beyond 50m and would sincerely suggest that this change be reverted if it was in fact intentional
I will try to test the scope on other weapons as far as I am currently aware this is only an issue with the SVDS

I can't even do gunsmith tasks without having to alt + f4 in the vendor menus. Not receiving messages for my stuff sold on the flea nor am i getting the vendor messages upon completion of tasks. Hey, everyone! I bought Escape From Tarkov last night hoping to play with some friends, but was met with a lot of problems. When trying to join a raid as PMC, both online and offline, I get what appears to be a unity crash? The unity crash is 2018.4.13f1_f484665b2d77 I have a video showing what happens. start a scav run and back out and you can join your team mates, works for us. One of our group has that problem that after every raid he can't invite or be invited etc. Starting scav run and backing immediately fixes it, but he has to do it after every raid

@odd aurora If they're in the server and you guys were in a VC inside the discord server and you have proof, then you can make a report to one of the mods. But apart from that, nothing can be done in game, just pick your people right and like Jenko said, it's a dog eat dog world.

I can tell you this, players who've played for multiple wipes anticipate sometime between mid-Dec to Mid January. However, the current "thought" process is, that with the recent updates that have occurred, they may want to wait longer to see the impacts of the changes.

I used windows install repair to access command prompt and change the drive letter, but when launched back into the OS, it quite literally switched the letter back, to G (tried it 3 times)

Just figured out what has been causing issues with my mouse and dual/tripple screens, it was my ram cleaner for some wierd reason. As soon as i turned it off the mouse don't go outside the tarkov screen.

the quest Hot delivery just gave me double credit for each of the planted items despite only having planted one of each. upon raid end it showed credit for all items planted despite me only bringing one of each and just starting it

@grim mason : Had that same problem a while back. Had to give EFT Live full access to computer then a reboot to fix. Idk if it would work for u or not. Find EFT(LIVE), escapefromtarkov application, properties, security, then edit. allow it acces to every thing,,,, so ... full control. modify. read & execute, read, write, special permissions. ..... I do not know if this is similar to ur problem. it worked for me. good luck.

I am currently experiencing two persistent problems.
- Sometimes after a raid as a PMC i cannot click next in the menus and have to hard exit. Because of this i cannot heal up after a match.
- Sometimes i get stuck in matching as a scav and my buddies load in. It isnt until i hard close the game and rejoin (says im still in raid) that i am able to finally load into the raid.
Anyone else experiencing this and are there any solutions?

Bro, RR is as useful as a standard bayonet, it's only used for cliff extract, which you need in addition a paracord and no armour vest in order to extract. That being said, if you really want it, i probs suggest #beginners-assistance or #pvp-lfg for someones help 👍.

Last time I played Tarkov was before 12.8. Today I tried to play the game but it crashes every time I try to go into a raid. I reinstalled and tried offline raid, offline worked fine. But when I try to connect to an online raid the game crashes in loading screen. I'll try again tomorrow when I've rebooted my PC and I'll update my GPU drivers. Hey fellas. I am having an issue with load times after leaving raids. I've done some research but all the results just say its a bug but they were from two years ago. My buddy I play with does not have this issue at all. So after we leave a raid he's back to the main menu in 10-15 seconds where as I sit there on the screen with the spinning circle in the bottom right for upwards of 5 minutes sometimes. We have very similar pc setups, m.2 ssd, 32gb ram, etc. I have tried fully uninstalling the game and launcher but nothing has helped. My ISP is Spectrum if that helps at all. I need a fix plz it's so frustrating losing so much precious time to loading screens

@oak summit For the matching issue let it match for 2.5 minutes, back out, then try and match again. I get the same issue and that fixes it. For groups where your team mates don't show up in the lobby, have the entire group restart the game. Have had this issue and it fixes it every time.

@inland sparrow I don't know Spectrum as an ISP, but this is also a problem that I've had. I also had issues loading the flea market and dealers. The cause was carrier grade NAT. I called my ISP (in my case AussieBB) and asked them to unsubscribe me from CGNAT. It took around half an hour for the changes to take effect, but I don't have the issue anymore.

@inland sparrow the best way to check is go to a site like whatismyip and see if the IP shown is the same as the WAN IP shown on your router. CGNAT is upstream of your home router, so no change you make can fix it. If the two IP's are different it's almost certainly CGNAT and what I've proposed above should fix it.

@winter forum While I still have my suspicions, it's pretty valid to me. He heard you and he didn't pre-fire you, you peaked your barrel out and he began shooting because of that. Also the laser and the noise you made turning it on.

@sick lily I have an AWG set to routed mode (so its only acting as a modem) wired to my mesh router and UPNP is enabled on the router. Are there specific ports I should forward for tarkov because I have open NAT type in all other games afaik.

@inland sparrow I'm getting out of my technical comfort zone here, but when I was testing I disabled IPV6, and forwarded 443 (this is only used for the authentication so possibly not needed), 8080, 17000-17100, 49000-59000 as they were the active ranges I could see in netstat.

@sonic musk Are you talking about the discord or EFT? Because you can't hear anyone inside of EFT, and it would help if you send a pic of what you see visually.

@near scroll go to your Task Manager and kill off any instances of "EscapeFromTarkov.exe", "UnityCrashHandler64.exe" or BsgLauncher. Then open Windows Explorer as administrator, make sure hidden items are visible, browse to C:\Battlestate Games and rename the "lock" folder to something like "lockabc". Restart your PC and try again.
