tl:dr you have to change your startup type to diagnostic startup in the syscon menu, then go into services and turn back on JUST your internet, then download the game.

#

Something on your system is interacting with the files you're downloading, and the launcher doesn't like that.

#

The problem is that what the file is and the internet dependent services vary slightly from PC to PC and I'm not computer literate enough to help users through that.

anyone know why my tarkov keeps crashing? is it a game issue or windows 10 issue? I re downloaded the game after Uninstalling everything and it still freezes/ crashes. Removal of the old drivers via DDU and installing a fresh driver resolved the issue.

Hey guys I've been having an issue with my tarkov where almost every match during walking or opening some kind of item that interracts with the inventory my tarkov crashes. I have already tried reducing my settings and minimizing background memory usage but It seems to be some kind of error with unity

This has been affecting my ability to play especially when it causes my to crash while sprinting across a open area or such. It is a graphical issue as I am still able to control my character until tarkov freezes.

yo guys, i cant report people from ingame with a dogtag, just wanted to say that i spawned into labs like a little rat, then i realised theres no one alive, went to green room all dead to same guy all unlooted no dogtags taken, same elsewhere in all good loot locations there are dead geared players, i have 5 dogtags all killed by the same guy "awpHittingP" i wanted to report it here due to it being pretty severe of a case, (he literally killed everyone in labs and i had about 2-3m loot on me before i extracted) i honestly dont know why he didnt kill me also, maybe he saw i had nothing? idk but yeah, no idea where else to report this so here ya go

I just bought Tarkov and my download speed is crazy slow its stuck around the 200-300KB even though I'm able to reach much much more, I did a speed test and I was well above that too... yeah you can run the game fps but it won't be pretty.

don't feel bad if your pc can't run it properly, I recently upgraded from a i5 6500 with a gtx 1070 16gb of 2133mhz of ram to a R7 3700x and a 2080 oc with 16gb of 3600 of ram and my fps sits at like 75-90 fps

Only the trees and the bushes are showing purple. All of my graphics drives are updated and i have tried multiple settings within the game and on startup. Every thing else graphics wise is 100% its just the trees and bushes are a extremely bright purple. The grass is fine. It is unplayable. I have verified files as well.

Uninstalling wont do everything, you have to goto Documents, delete that folder, %appdata% and deleting Battlestate Games folder, and then manually deleting the folder outta C:/

An SSD is about 8x faster than an HDD. It's a definite worth purchase, and they've dipped down in price as well. You can buy a 1 TB for $100 and a 500 gb for $50 now, it also is good for booting windows faster.

You can buy an external SSD which doesn't fit into your mobo just hooks up as a normal HDD but m.2/NVME are way better if you can.

the fps drop in offline mode with npcs enabled is most likely due to 1 cpu core getting clogged which is part of the main thread tarkov is running on, this is mainly due to lack of optimization of the game, but can be fixed by getting higher clock speed on your cpu

So ive got around 500 hours now and I think it's worth upgrading to eod. I have heard before that it resets your stash and trader rep when you upgrade and I have also heard everything stays the same. I asked around a while ago and still got very mixed answers. Does anyone know for sure what will happen when you upgrade as I am fairly high level and have a decent amount of roubles that I don't want to lose. Thanks!

I bought the game last night, I downloaded it straight away and proceeded to launch it. The game would get stuck on the main menu screen (I could just move my mouse) everytime I launched it, no matter what solution I tried nothing would change, I'm desperate for a fix. Thanks in advance.

My Tarkov install directory is on my F drive, and has been for years. Was able to collect my insurance / bitcoins today but since todays update I cannot.

I see what happened, todays update did not update the launcher in place, and instead laid down a new launcher at my C drive.

You region shouldn’t matter but it you go into the launcher and go into servers you should turn of the automatic servers and pick the servers with the least ping for you and only use those @tired pine

Opposed to other games, the bullets in Tarkov come out of your barrel instead of the center of your screen, and because the sights are above your barrel, the bullets will be lower than your sights by a centimeter or two. Plus, the bullets drop (go down) over time, so you have to accommodate for that if you're shooting from a distance.

So probably pause download, follow the steps in pins (should be second recent pin), if not pause download restart router and do steps in pins again

I just lost insured status on a SICC case full of keys... It's always been insured but this time when I clicked "insure all" before entering a raid, my fee came to over 100k. I'm 1000000% sure this SICC case and the keys were already insured

I'm probably not the first with this issue but i just bought the Standard Edition of Escape From Tarkov through PayPal, it let me download and run the launcher but when it got to the point where it would say "Install Tarkov" it said i hadn't bought the game, so i clicked on "buy" but it just bought me back to the official website where it said i had indeed bought tarkov.

I was sniping from dome in reserve when 2 PMCs rolled up in the main ground looting . Once i sniped on of them in the head near the 2 guard buildings near White King , the second rushed inside the building went in the last floor right benieth the dome started spamming F1 (PMC speaking) then seconds later i had a server Disconect . I am at the moment playing in a internet cafe so i asked the people workign there to check on the servers , turning out all servers are absolutely fine . Same as other players they havnt had problrems in their games in regards to conectivity when playing COD Warzone , League of Legends etc , CSGO etc .
I dont want to waste your time on a random player but the chances of something like this happening are extremely slim .

Hey guys, I am having a problem with bsglauncher. Whenever I launch it, my pc starts freezing, then the screen goes black for about 2s and when it comes back, the launcher is already in 'not responding' status. I also get the error saying: ''UCEERR_RENDERTHREADFAILURE (Exception from HRESULT: 0x88980406). This started to happen before I reinstalled both the game and the launcher.

im still having issues on playing Tarkov, I bought the game, I upgraded to the European Edition so i wouldn't get Region locked, all through PayPal. The website says i bought the standard edition of the game but when i open the launcher it says i haven't bought the game. A mod said to activate my game id in settings but i can't find that in the settings.

IE Standard users receive 300k
If you upgrade to EOD you only get 100k because you already recieved 300k of the 400k EOD guys get when they start on a fresh wipe--given that this upgrade occured not a fresh wipe

im having serious memory leak issues. I have to restart my game after every 2-3 raids or i will spawn in super late and be extremely laggy. Once i restart there is no problem for the first raid or two. I have the game on a Samsung 970 m.2 SSD so i dont think that is the issue. Could it be that i need more than 16gb of ram?

@rain oyster "Pre-order Escape from Tarkov" e-mail have a digital key (that your friend need to enter on his profile). If this email doesn't contain digital key (above the AK picture) and you 100% sure you didnt messed up on purchase, create support ticket.

That email have exactly the same name as one when you purchase game for yourself. But email body is a little different.
