Though if you just want to change things like saturation or contrast, you can, and should, use features built into your graphics driver like nvidia freestyle or amds equivalent.
Well, new versions cause issues with BE because of features built into it that can be abused.

I accepted it, a prompt popped up saying "quest unavailable" and then my inventory stopped working properly, so I restarted the game and the quest is no longer available. So in Tarkov I just came across the worst bug possible, I went to use a bandage and it just infinite used it and wouldn't actually heal me or cancel it, I could open my inventory and when I did to drink water to cancel the bandage it then started the water drinking animation and would never end either so I bled out...

No, usually I crash nearly EVERY time I spawn. like within the first two-three minutes itll crash.
I normally dont play reserve. I just went in this time and it said "bad" something, some sort of error then the game force closed. After that I cleared my cache like I do everytime I crash and started back up. It then proceeded to crash 5 more times in 5 minutes til eventually I was dead upon loading back in

Hi, im having some problems with the game. When i try to join customs, i get stuck for a while in "loading loot", then, when i finally get to enter in the map, the game loses connection to the server and im forced to get back to lobby. I already played factory without any problem, and already played customs aswell, but in offline mode. What can be causing the problem?

Restart your game and do a raid.
Don't put anything into your first slot until you are done with the raid.
The first slot is glitched because the crafting took the handguard from the PP, making it unusable and the game removed it.
You need to do a raid for it to get fixed.
Your PP is gone though.
Please report it using the launcher though.

firstly: I simply love this game β€οΈ I play since one week and it is great.
Now my problem: tonight I upgraded from basic to edge of darkness edition. After purchase I went in game and I got my bigger stash - AWESOME β€οΈ but I was missing the new items which were supposed to come with this edition. So I googled a bit and saw a reddit post which mentioned that I had to reset my profile and I did so. Now my profile is reset, everything is gone but I have my basic stash and basic items, yet on the website it says I have the edge of darkness edition π¦ can someone help?
I already made a ticket about it but maybe someone is here to help so it can be resolved quickly that I can spend all weekend playing this great game <3

You didn't have to reset your account and I'm afraid you will not get your old items back. It just takes a while for the items to arrive and resetting will not make it better.

I have connection to server lost in 2 out of 3 raids. Either it kicks me out after like 35 minutes of the raid or I can click on reconnect, and then it says "awaiting session start" for infinity... Always the same, only my secured container secures my loot, every item I looted from backpack, rig, weaponslots are gone. After nearly 40 minutes of looting and replacing items with more worthy ones over and over again.

@kindred niche make sure the firewall and antivirus is turned fully off so it doesn't block the installer from running.
Additionally, @teal rose has a script method that you can run before installing the new install launcher that will help remove old temporary files.
I don't have the script in front of me, but I used his method and it worked just fine!

Is anyone else experiencing frame drops on tarkov?
It's really, really annoying. On 100% gpu load I get like 80-90fps, it randomly drops my gpu usage to below 60% which causes my frames to drop aswell.. my frames dip to 50fps sometime and it feels like ass.

Clear the cache on your launcher then try and redownload again. You'll find the option on the drop down menu that pops up once you click on your name.
