Hey guys, I have no idea what’s going on. Yesterday I reset my PC and reformatted all my drives. Since then, Escape from Tarkov has been acting up. It crashes as soon as I load into a raid or when I leave one. I’m also getting extremely long loading times — sometimes still 4:30+ minutes.

Maybe one of you has an idea what could be causing this?
(By the way, before reinstalling everything, I had little to no issues.)

What's the "optimal" route to troubleshoot Tarkov crashes?

Me and my brother have almost identical setups (different brand SSD and I've got slightly lower timing ram CL30 and he has CL32 but the rest of setup is identical 7800x3d/7900 XTX, 64gb ddr5 6000mhz ram) and he has intermittent crashes quite often.

I've tried doing everything I could find, everything I've done on my setup but his Tarkov still crashes (mind you I haven't been playing much this wipe but previous wipe personally had 0 crashes in over 1k raids). BIOS is up to date, he tried both XMP on and off. Even did a fresh install of windows, DDU, clean install of drivers and it still crashes.

When running DDU he needs to remove Nvidia drivers and containers, not AMD ones

Would AMD system have any Nvidia driver and/or containers right on fresh install on windows? Still wouldn't explain the crashes as I've been running my pc with the same windows install that I installed when I built the pc probably around 3 years ago and mine doesn't have that issue. The only thing we haven't tried yet and it might be a long shot is Steelseries GG software as we run different peripherals (mines dedicated dac+amp with studio headphones and he has some Steelseries gaming headset)

Unless I don't know something there's no reason any Nvidia drivers or containers would be present in the system as it's purely amd setup, built it myself so there's no pre-installed software or any of that crap that sometimes comes with pre-built systems.

If not then you should take the 10 seconds to just run through DDU with the Nvidia and Intel options selected

I appreciate the help and don't mean to be rude but it's not really skipping probability of it being the case is literally 0%. He might not be tech savvy but he's not dumb and knows he has amd system and not Nvidia. Not supervising him when using the system but did supervise him doing fresh install of windows, updating bios, installing chipset/gpu, etc. drivers, downloading fresh install of tarkov and it still crashed once that evening.
I'll do DDU clean for Nvidia/Intel regardless but I'm just looking for another solution once this inevitably fails to fix it.

I updated my GPU drivers today, and did a full reinstall, ill have to test it out again when my friend logs in again - i hope that the issue is resolved since im having alot of fun with it as a new(ish) player. I would admit that BSG are not very good developers but have created a fantastic game if that makes sense
