The game is showing me that the quest is completed in-game, but when I successfully extract and get to the main menu, the quest shows up as incomplete again. I followed the steps in the walkthrough video, but the expected follow-up (the next quest) from the video did not pop up. My main quest is stuck and won't progress.

The first image is a screenshot from in-game, and the second one is a screenshot of the main menu. After leaving the game map, the mission is considered incomplete again.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

^Yeah this is part of my issue. When I get the game to launch after deleting my settings, I can't change from fullscreen without crashing. And when I close the game and relaunch to change textures the game crashes, and when I launch again I get stuck on the inital loading screen until I delete settings and start the whole process over again.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

That is definately the cause. The game is requesting files too quickly and is expecting ssd response times, and then it doesn't get it in time and you disconnect.

You need to put the game on an ssd. This is also in the minimum requirements I believe.

Hey guys. My wife is having some trouble getting Tarkov to run properly. It was working fine the other day and when she went to move the files to her SSD, it decided to stop functioning; between freezing/stuck on loading loot pools and having server connection timeouts and disconnects on PvE. Gonna ask this here since I already tried going through support; I frequently cannot receive group invites and when I send them I do not see them in my party. It's been happening for 4 months and I cannot find any useful information online. I have to restart the game every raid to see invites/send invites. it seems to be network related but I don't know where or why. Have you made sure your game uses the GPU and not the Cpu Gpu
