Im telling you that what i have will work until it just randomly decides it cannot, until it decides it can again. Even for other games with big memory reqs. it doesnt make sense why i can load streets with damn near 0 stutters, then next time when i boot the game and try to scav factory it crashes relentlessly

@urban quail the 1.0 update means the game requires more ram.

It’s because tarkov has memory leaks (and bad ones). it’s the games fault. if it has a leak, it just grows and grows until your computer just freezes and the game crashes. sometimes it won’t happen for weeks and then suddenly it will. it can be fixed by setting a pagefile, following the instructions i guided you to earlier.

The leak doesn’t depend on map, or time, or anything. it’s a game of chance tbh. that’s why you can run streets, then crash on factory. but reboot and run factory perfectly. it seems bizarre i know, but it’s just memory leaks causing the game to freeze

if it isn’t fixed by setting your pagefile, then we can look at other options!

Like i said though, i understand system reqs are what they are and whatnot, but ive starved games of ram in a more intense way than tarkov is being starved from RAM rn. i was literally just asking if theres a way to make it more consistent. its just really weird cuz it literally will not let me play even after multiple restarts and whatnot, then otherwise will run perfectly fine (even if there was a point it was suffering horribly before stabilizing)

not the easiest thing to test because hyperthreading only kicks in sometimes and tarkov isnt the easiest game to get accurate benchmarks due to how many things are being simulated at once and how often that changes on a raid-to-raid basis

Good evening, I have a question. My friend is having an issue where he can barely load into the game. His performance in-game is fine, but during loading it gets stuck at “Creating lootpools 100%” and then shows “Server connection lost.”

On Woods and Customs this error doesn’t happen as often, but it still occurs. Sometimes he loads in on the second or third try, and other times it doesn’t work at all.

Is there anything he can do to fix this?

So I just purchased a new monitor and since installing it, I'm having trouble getting into the raids. Is there a known issue with 4k resolution monitors or sth? Up until today I was fine, barely any issues apart from the occasional high ping/package loss. Installed the monitor and most games I cannot connect on first try, have to restart the game and start the raid mid-timer.

MIP streaming is a setting that affects the way your GPU works, even so, I would recommend no users turn it on, it causes terrible hitching and your game has a 50% chance to crash every time you extract

Right. Unlocked Lightkeeper. In 3 raids out of 4 I got killed by a Sektant or Zryachi, because they sit literally either way at the entrance to the lighthouse behind the second door, or at the radar station where you need to pick up Top Secret quest. I don't remember spawns being messed up so bad in the past. Took me ages to get to lightkeeper, now worried on how to come back with quest items in the future, as they are never in their sniping locations.

I linked it, and when the servers came back online, my progress was gone — I went from level 18 back to level 0 and had to create a new character.

Just encountered one of the most annoying bugs of the past 6 years of playing EFT two raids in a row.

Killed Kaban guards as they were mounting the MG, tried to loot them, unable to. Tried to fire my weapon, it's completely disabled. You can fire no weapon at all after attempting to loot, which means when you get swarmed by the other guards or boss, you die. This happened two raids in a row on two separate occasions.

Bonus - Attempting to send it in as a bug, I'm told I've reached the daily limit for bug submits AND my game client logs are too large of an upload for the launcher anyways so......yay. Professional.

How can I escalate a ticket?

I have sent a follow up email asking for an update for the last 6 days now after they sent me a response asking for more documentation.

Like, how can they respond to a ticket which would now be “opened” and not respond back now…

You must wait for a response. There is nothing else you can do. If you keep sending emails asking, it will put you automatically to the back of the queue. Please continue to be patient.

Its an ongoing bug they are aware of. Restarting the game should help. Usually for me it fixes after 10-20 seconds

I have a friend who got the game on steam they booted up the game and I had told them to make a tarkov account not realizing the game would create one when ran through steam.

My friend used the same email for that tarkov account I told them to make as their steam so when they try to sign in with their steam account, they get a message that says they have to make a new tarkov account hence why I asked about deleting the one I told them to make.
