This completely uninstalls the graphics driver, It is to install a driver that is stable but older for AMD users because unity is taking issue with how amd is handling bit flipping and crashes for users when at higher memory usage with single apps.

It will also uninstall the graphics driver for nvidia users.

I guess one more thing before I go, any and all users getting the** ILL2CPP** error. Uninstall 3rd party antivirus software, Reason Cyber Security, AKA RAV, TotalAV ( or Total Security), IObit Malware Fighter (or Advanced SystemCare bundle) , 360 Total Security (Qihoo 360). All of these softwares take over for windows defender and windows allows it. Tarkov's BSG_launcher can not handle anyone but you handling windows defender functions. please pin for others.

if you really dont know what your doing get someone to help you. remember the game is like 70gig...its gonna be at least double on the unpack.

Potential Workarounds

some pointer in the code is pointign to null, meaning was not initialized by the code. When the code that uses the pinter tries to write on the address pointed to that poitner, the MMU in the CPU triggers a signal and windows need to shutdown the proccess as Nothign can write at address zero

That is in Unity or BSG side bug, woudl be very random to try to find what in his machine is leading to their code not pass through the initialization. He likely will need to wait a game update or worse, an unity update

can be something in the machine that makes some path of their code select a branch that skips whis initialization, but is completely on luck trying to find it without their code.

**For those with AMD CPU but NVidia GPU and are crashing. ** Likely because tarkov likes to hangout on a single thread and doesn't give any room if packets all decide to flood in, this helps move packet data around in a way the hardware can handle. Admin into windows powershell.
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal Windows dynamic "smart adjuster" that resizes the data your PC grabs from the internet at once. Setting this to "Normal" Fixes any weird slow downs on downloads
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled (Receive Side Scaling) This setting allows all of your CPU cores to organize the incomming packets instead of just using one thread. This will reduce CPU bottle necks if you have a multi core CPU (most of us do)
netsh int tcp set global rsc=enabled(Receive Segment Coalescing) Looks similar to the last one but is rsc not rss, This takes packets and bundles the small ones into fewer bigger ones before handing them to your CPU (Your NIC has to support it but it does not hurt anything to enable it.
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=disabled (Explicit Congestion Notification) This one may cause packet corruption but it is just a traffic jam notifier in a sense and we are just ignoring data politeness by disabling it. If problems occur when enabling it just do the same command and change ecncapability=enabled
netsh int tcp set supplemental template=datacenter This is a profile setting for windows, it makes things timeout faster if they are going to time out which is incredibly helpful for the tarkov Bsg_Launcher current setup with BE. It allows bigger initial data bursts however you may want to disable it once things are working as it can cause a glitch where everything speeds up at once in game like scavs on fastforward mode.
netsh int tcp set supplemental template=internet Running this ensures broad compatibility for browsing/downloads. Running this activates the combo for general use.

The above commands resolve a list of problems.

ok wait wait wait lol, Its not increasing your download speeds from your ISP. its just changing how your PC handles Packet data. Going through as single thread for all your data is inefficient, with the command we just allowed more pipes on your machine to allow flow in. This has nothing to do with what you will see on speed test.

With those commands you will see faster loading times in game, when loading loot items, and other data, you will see a balance in arenas and such like that. It really gives your computer more power and control over its own hardware and makes the cpu do its job and allocate that data to the correct places on your hardware.

Its not about fast its about data pipes. without that, it decides that 12 packets will fit in 1 pipe at the same time. With those settings you can have 1 packet go into 12 threads at the same time.

Yes, even on a 14900k these settings can still help a lot with tarkov-specific stuttering, desync, and launcher downloads. Tarkov+BattleEye is a very special and badly optimized case: Its single thread heavy and bottlenecked to one or two cores on your cpu. Your 14900k has 24 cores and 32 threads, but tarkov barely can use 2-3 of them effectively. By Default Network packet processing in Windows defaults to a single core. Thats why these commands are helpful.

Your CPU is insane, but Windows + Tarkov are intentionally holding it back on purpose with ancient single-threaded network defaults like 2006 net code

all poorly optimized games that use 2006 netcode that run on 2-3 cores and a single thread ^_^'

If you take a flea that jumps 5ft high, put it in a jar and it has offspring, the offspring can only jump as high as the glass jar ever was. Same thing here.

Something in your system is preventing il2cpp from being ran. It could be drivers, anticheat, windows etc.

Make sure windows & drivers are fully up to date, and that u have an exception for the whole bsg folder in windows defender

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

Uninstall 3rd party antivirus software, Reason Cyber Security, AKA RAV, TotalAV ( or Total Security), IObit Malware Fighter (or Advanced SystemCare bundle) , 360 Total Security (Qihoo 360). All of these softwares take over for windows defender and windows allows it. Tarkov's BSG_launcher can not handle anyone but you handling windows defender functions. please pin for others.

@dawn herald its a syncing error. it will clear. You could verify your own game files and make sure your system has latest updates. If your game has been working to date then don't change anything just wait it out...it WILL be fine.

yo guys, anyone know how to fix this? its a btr driver bug. - I am able to enter the btr just fine but when i click f to talk to the driver his pop-up flashes on screen in Russian then disappears giving me the prompt to talk to him once again. Somone in the EFT discord said it was an old bug that could be fixed by pressing T, 5, and 1 which did nothing. I do have money, tried moving from butt to bag then rig, nothing. @lyric river its a known issue. Its a temporary syncing issue. No need for a radical reaction. If its a server side issue no need to reinstall/ install thje game. Just keep trying, apply the updates, verify files. Patiently wait. Once its syncing properly you wont have any related issues.

Thats the account that BSG makes for you if you start playing when your steam and bsg are not linked.

A desync is generally the client data not matching the servers instructions. This locks the unity UI. Tweeking your netsh settings on windows may help with this issue but it's hard to say that it would resolve it completely.

This is completely wrong. Windows does reclaim unused portions of the pagefile when possible, but it does so synchronously with normal I/O. There’s no hidden background thread that randomly “steals” space and causes instability just because the min ≠ max. If the initial size is smaller than the max, Windows will grow the file on‑the‑fly when memory pressure demands it. That’s exactly what the OS is designed to do, and it works the same on HDDs, SATA SSDs, and NVMe drives. Windows can tell no difference between a SATA and NVMe drive.

If this is the case "Windows + R" and type "cleanmgr" make sure to tick the radio box that says "directX cache" or alike. And run this on your drive. Also see my psa on netsh settings on windows.

When you have low ram, the app will force your drive to do the heavy lifting, increasing the read and writes on the drive. Changing the netsh will distribute the load of packet data over all the cores of your cpu and reduce the writes to the drive significantly. netsh settings will resolve most of your problems.

**For those with slow downloads, desync issues, low ram, low cpe cache, and crashes. ** tarkov likes to hangout on a single thread and doesn't give any room if packets all decide to flood in, this helps move packet data around in a way the hardware can handle. Admin into windows powershell.
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal Windows dynamic "smart adjuster" that resizes the data your PC grabs from the internet at once. Setting this to "Normal" Fixes any weird slow downs on downloads
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled (Receive Side Scaling) This setting allows all of your CPU cores to organize the incomming packets instead of just using one thread. This will reduce CPU bottle necks if you have a multi core CPU (most of us do)
netsh int tcp set global rsc=enabled(Receive Segment Coalescing) Looks similar to the last one but is rsc not rss, This takes packets and bundles the small ones into fewer bigger ones before handing them to your CPU (Your NIC has to support it but it does not hurt anything to enable it.
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=disabled (Explicit Congestion Notification) This one may cause packet corruption but it is just a traffic jam notifier in a sense and we are just ignoring data politeness by disabling it. If problems occur when enabling it just do the same command and change ecncapability=enabled
netsh int tcp set supplemental template=datacenter This is a profile setting for windows, it makes things timeout faster if they are going to time out which is incredibly helpful for the tarkov Bsg_Launcher current setup with BE. It allows bigger initial data bursts however you may want to disable it once things are working as it can cause a glitch where everything speeds up at once in game like scavs on fastforward mode.
netsh int tcp set supplemental template=internet Running this ensures broad compatibility for browsing/downloads. Running this activates the combo for general use.

Then new tan ulach seems to be coded wrong for insurance returns. It is not coming back even when dumped by team mates before leaving the raid (pve) leaving zero chance for a scav to take it, and no one is taking it themselves. The frogman one from the battle pass upgrade.
