They can’t force them to go to your inbox

You can change your email address by enabling an authentication app in your account settings and then requesting an email change, this process takes 24 hours, but if you can’t login then you must email BSG and request to do it through support, that process is much longer and requires lots of information like receipts and bank statements to prove you are the owner of the account

To change the multifactor to use the app, because it's currently using the email, it requires a code sent to the email to do that change.

Not quite. Slow might be some coincidence with some hop along the way. On outlook/Hotmail it's consistent with going into a black hole. Definitely sounds like they're (MS) blocking BSGs mail provider since it's based in Russia

I managed to get past this by sending an SMTP log equivalent with yandex.net (BSG's MX) as the source, which resulted in a silent drop (which seems to be the case).
The Level 2 response was to delete my mobile devices from Outlook account and wait 24 hours, which sounds like BS..

I think I scared them a little when they saw the Cyrillic logs, but that was just to get past level 1 support.
In reality, we need a real log to really be able to move forward, maybe it's a problem on the Yandex/BSG side to contact Microsoft, and BSG already has all the information but they doesn't takes any actions

You have to take current screenshots of the receipt, not the one from whenever you purchased the game to avoid that scenario. Had to get my hotmail put back as my 2FA recently and went through the same process

I do have my receipt in my email, so I should be good to go on my request to disable MFA via email ... it's just waiting whatever amount of time it takes for them to do the thing, probabbly 5 to 10 days minimum.

In my case, I sent screenshots of all my payments and bank statements showing the same amount and ID for the purchase of the EOD upgrade and the upgrade on Unheard. I am also logged into the launcher on an old PC, and I provided a screenshot of this as well. However, I used another BSG account to make this request via a ticket to the support, not by email.

Well, I do have access to the account via discord linked account, so I can log into the account. I have receipts, the paypal confirmation email, the xsolla thing from 6 years ago. Can probably get the bank statement with the payment in it.

Butch, just take a minute to read. MFA Emails to outlook/hotmail addresses are fucked. You can login into your account on the website if you've linked it to steam or discord. Just use that as the authentication provider below the boxes to input username and password.

If you don't have anything linked to your BSG account, you're out of luck and need to email support at BSG. Easiest thing to request is to disable MFA via email, they'll request proof of purchase of the game, receipts, bank statements ... the whole smash.

For this one I did this recently - I emailed them after I got a new phone and it didn't transfer; provided them with screenshots of my purchase in paypal, money leaving bank account on the date of me sending the email in August, after about 6 days they replied and asked me for some account names / significant achievements and I sent them some plus a video or two I had shadowplayed on my desktop and they removed the 2FA back to just email. Note if its a hotmail obviously you want them to change that to Gmail if they can at the moment (due to the ongoing hotmail/outlook issues)

I did research on crappy tarkov performance - its usually bottlenecked by cpu because it primarily focuses on one core or something apparently but his cores are equally utilized by the looks of it

I never played it personally even though it always had appeal to me because you can't look this game up without mention of how crappy the company, the game and the cheater situation is
