I have had this issue myself. I actually was able to get a reply via battlestate games. They do not know what causes this issue, they are also aware this is becoming a more common thing but they are working on a fix. I can PROMISE you the replies you were getting are not what the issue is. I have never once overclocked anything, i have never once messed with anything, everything is in it's vanilla state and i too am having the issue. where they may have been ''helping people with tech issues for years'' this is a growing problem and not just a problem with people who have overclocked but also those who haven't. You got an automated response, I have personally resolved this issue with multiple users in this channel, instability with the system can cause the anticheat disconnection, finding the issue with the system (usually either not enough memory/system resources or unstable overclocking) and returning it to default values resolves it

What could be the reasons for prolonged (like 15-20 minutes) loading profile data? Also I am facing issues when I extract, it takes 5-10 minutes to reach the main menu, sometimes it’s just stuck right after extraction and I have to do alt f4 and run it again

I found the issue, it’s a packet loss issue. Tarkov can’t handle even 0.1% of packet loss. Which is ridiculous, the overclocking thing I knew it wasn’t it. I didn’t want to call the dude out because I’m not the most tech savvy, but I asked my buddy who works in tech, and he said the dude was smoking rocks. That it’s the most unlikely cause- overclocking. He said don’t listen to discord mods that have been “fixing tech issues for years” I laughed.

Unstable overclocking and low system specs can literally cause packet loss; just because a PC has good specifications that doesn't mean things are configured for Tarkov to run correctly, packet loss can be caused by a myriad of things from connectivity issues to hardware issues to driver issues, if you're having issues with packet loss then you need to resolve the underlying issue causing it.

Hey everyone, I've been having an issue for over a week now. When I launch the game, it just gets stuck on loading profile data. I'm in UAE, so I thought it was because of undersea cable issue that happened recently. If I use a VPN, it connects fine, but then I can only play local PvE, no co-op no PvP and no streets because the ping gets too high. If I use VPN to load my profile and then turn it off, it crashes cause of authentication. This is happening to a few people I know playing in UAE too. Is there any solution? Anything we can do?

i need help. i cannot install EFT anymore... i can get the launcher, but every time i click install on EFT, it slowly kills all the running programs on my PC (spotify, discord, google, is usually all i have running) i will click install on EFT, all it says is "waiting 0kb/0kb" and then within two minutes it will pause my music, or whatever tf is open.... i can still move my mouse, but nothing works. eventually it will black/bluescreen. i have no issues with anything else, ive done two windows wipes, ive uninstalled and reinstalled launcher, ive ran as administrator. ive done fuckin everything that the forums have said and done what i already know used to work in the past. but now, it just wont work. ive missed out on the last two wipes because of this shit. i want to play the damn game and nothing will work... if anyone has encountered this pls pls help. i havent been able to play in over a year..

I wanted to share the fixes support told me to do. first was to set the paging file size to 20480 MB(for 16gb of ram or more), and that stopped the BSOD crash. the game still didn't launch, and i sent logs over to support, and that showed that i had missing files even though check integrity option in launcher never said so. after reinstalling, the game launched 😄

Since yesterday, after a BSOD mid raid, i haven't been able to boot tarkov at all. It inevitably BSODs during the Battleye launching sequence.

I have tried clean reinstalls of the game, graphics and other drivers, via deleting files in appdata manually, as well as using tools such as revo uninstaller, and the included uninstalling procedure, none of which have fixed the issue. I have also tried increasing the pagefile size to 64GB.

the BSOD error reads system thread exception not handled.

My system is a Thinkpad P16v Laptop, with a Ryzen 9 7940HS, 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and a RTX 2000 Ada GPU, currently on Production Branch Driver 573.73
