tarkov is a hard game to run well, one of the hardest, though new ryzen X3D CPUs help a lot but people still on intel system are kinda screwed

i changed my CPU from 5800X to 5700X3D, which is actually slower in terms of raw performance, and got like 30% more fps in tarkov

in very basic terms, your cpu works first, sending instructions to gpu to draw frames. most games are easy enough for cpu that the cpu is performing very fast and the gpu is one trying to keep up. in tarkov however, in most cases the cpu is so slow that the gpu is just chilling. bottleneck means whichever part is the the slower one in any situation

most settings only affect gpu performance so when cpu is the one holding you back, changing dlss or whatever isnt gonna do anything really

realistically, buying a CPU used is safe and theres no situation where someone else having used it for a while is gonna affect it one way or other. people dont even overclock ryzens any more, undervolting is the norm and thats also safer

but you should ask to see the cpu boot up in a computer, to be safe, if its possible

obviously there is a risk, but its a small one especially if its from a forum where people maintain reputation and the seller has some history and not just random listing on facebook or whatever

If you are having issues loading into raids, the first thing to check is that you have increased your page file size, if you are still crashing after that, you should roll back your drivers to something below version 472

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

I would suggest backing out 100%. Close the game. Launch it and above the PLAY button there is an options cog wheel. Hit that, Clear your cache. Not saying its a fix, but its fixed stuff for me in the past.

speed test is a vertical slice and if the internet is occasionally lagging, it wont show it unless you just happen to run it at the exact moment. and it wont show routing problems if your target server is within your local ISPs network

and bandwidth has nothing to do with latency

still though, changing region, optimally to something in a different side of the planet from your countrys point of view might help if theres a routing problem somewhere along the way

I tuned down my game ready driver and also tuned down my page file size (also experimented a little) to 32-64gb. it seems as though i have no more crashes in raid (didnt live long enough to be quite sure) but the game crashes now on the exit screen. only possible reason i could come up with is they are repurposing pvp sessions that have concluded

so you get true scav experience of little loot

instead of trying to somehow artificially create a raid that seems to have been going on for 15 minutes

at least youre able to play somewhat xd i havent been able to play for like 1,5 days because i get chain DC and its on my end, and im about to reinstall windows to hope its fixed because the problem doesnt happen on my other pc

I’ve been experiencing a persistent issue for the past two days where I get the error "Server Connection Lost (29sec)" repeatedly while playing Escape From Tarkov. This makes the game unplayable for me.
I’ve already tried the following steps: Reinstalled the game
Cleared cache
Verified game files
I have extremley good wifi/ethernet connection and all my other online games are running without any problems — this only happens with EFT.
I’m not sure what else to try at this point. Can you someone help me troubleshoot this or let me know if there are any known issues?

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

No, remove the sticks physically

Look at motherboard manual which sticks to remove

Theres a priority on which slots to install and just use it in reverse to remove half

Or, rather, theres guide which slots to fill for 1, 2 and 4 sticks and just take out the ones youd add going from 2 to 4

(Im assuming you have 4x32gb and not some weird 8 slot board)

0. Both accounts are on the same server.
1. I can receive the team invitation sent by my friend's account, but after joining the team, we can't enter the game as a team normally.
2. When I send a team invitation to my friend's account, they can't receive it.
3. When I send a message to my friend's account, they can only receive it after re-entering the game.

So since the Arena update it coruppted my files.... Ive uninstalled and deleted all folders for the main game and arena re installed both and still only arena will not open. It says the files downloaded are corrupted and the repair function of the launcher does not work at all or just gives error 00 and does nothing

the most logical fault for me was the battle eye was somehow corrupted and wasnt able to verify me properly and i got auto dc every time it failed
