well, when i got the crashes/ server connection failed, it's either i was on my old laptop with 16gb ram or my router had issues or my graphic settings on my pc somehow got resetted and went back to high.

I woke up about 10 minutes ago, booted my machine, and opened the launcher. Launcher said it needed a critical update, so I let it ride. Once that was done I launched the game and was in the main menu in about 40 seconds.

Before that happened, though, I deleted everything in the settings folder that's in your appdata folder. So while I gotta redoo all my bindings and game settings, the game is actually running.

The game ran beautifully once in-raid. The problem was just getting to those menus.

Closed the game and relaunched it. Main menu once again popped up within the first minute.

Geekuninstaller is honestly the best ive ever used. Its portable and no install, takes care of all files associated data. Associated data is what you need to delete to get a fresh install. When just removing program its not getting rid of app data, so when you delete file you still have the bad data thats causing the issue @gusty spear

pve solo is a server on your pc and it closes when the game is closed

Your profile only updates if you're online and finish a raid.

I'm not exactly sure about streets pve as that is online, it should close when you leave though

if you have a friend in a raid on pve I believe you can come back

Uninstall the launcher completely.

Make sure there's no trace of the launcher left either, then go and reinstall the launcher but run it as admin, click install and have event viewer open to see what goes wrong

From another pc that is not infected with malware please change your email's password and add 2 step verification on your email and tarkov account. Make sure there's no email forwarding nor backup emails added.
Then reset your tarkov password and reformat your main pc. (reformat optional but it's highly likely your main pc is infected with malware of some kind).
