If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

Fix your fucking servers. Why is there only one north american server that advertises 40 ping, but in-game it's actually 80 that regularily jumps up to 130+ ping, and constantly disconnects me where I ususally die before I even return to the main menu, lost 2 fucking escort runs to this shit. I have a good SSD too, but it takes for ever to load back into main menu, longer than it does to load back into the game.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

And if you're new, try to think about Fence rep as a form of currency: When you're being a "good scav", you'll be getting better gear when spawning in as a scav, have shorter cooldowns and other benefits (as it's on the page). you have to just weigh the benefits and negatives. And keep in mind that it will be harder to get to your extract from that raid, because you'll be marked as a "traitor", AI scavs will go after you, and any Player scavs who saw the kill are also free to shoot

headsets and sound in general has changed a lot while you were gone, a big one is headsets being closer to wearing no headset in terms of range than they used to be, they also changed a lot about the individual headsets stats
i cant say for sure of course, but it might just be the sound changes that are feeling really off for you

if no maps work well and you keep getting disconnected either the problem is battleye being blocked via firewall or you have an improper network configuration from your isp called "dual stack lite"

if it's the network problem you'd need to contact your isp and ask for regular dual stack. They might not know what that means unless you talk to someone more knowledgable.
