Yeah that's fair. When it happened to me I just hid in a room, hit esc, and closed and reopened whatever I tabbed into and it fixed it. It could be an audio focus issue.

Can i jump in and say the main issue here is the delay between opened support emails. As soon as a case is opened it should have a priority on the case and if no reply after x days then the case is closed. (on The user not responding )

I had my email hacked and they got into everything.
I managed to get it back and 90% of my accounts.

Can i surgest that you put this up the chain that maybe they change how there support system works and when some one submits a case that once bsg has replied if the user does not reply with in 5 days then the case is closed. but also any cases that are opened are at the top of the que. I am sure that this will help bsg support ticket rate of completions rather than reply rates.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

This isn't a new problem, they've had these issues off and on for years. Now they won't let you sign up or create a new account on their page with a Microsoft Exchange-based email, like Hotmail, or MSN, etc. because they haven't been able to fix it. I've been emailing their support back and forth since January trying to get access to my account because I'm not getting the authentication emails, and now they haven't responded in over 2 weeks. Their support is the worst I have ever dealth with.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

You should make sure everything is configured correctly in your BIOS and that all your drivers are up to date, including chipset and display

You could also open a support ticket and send them your logs by clicking report bug in your game launcher

I've been doing this for a long time, this error specifically is 9 times out of 10 because the system cannot handle running the game for any number of reasons

An actual connection issue you wouldn't even be able to boot to the main menu

Server connection lost just means your client timed out and didn't repsond to the server in time

You could try doing this, it helps when not having enough memory is the cause of the issue

idk if you have gotten an answer or not yet but after opening the battle pass and getting to the point where you cant use your cursor, just sit there for a bit and pop ups will start to appear. after they do, you can close them and you'll be able to use your cursor again.

I manged to get a fix somewhat related to this, I opened my Nvidia Reflex overlay, right clicked so my cursor stayed on screen and eventually the pop-ups quickly appeared and disappeared without me doing anything. Still helped out tho so thanks
