You remove both

Display drivers are installed with windows in some rudimentary fashion it can cause issues with the game, your issue with lagging while shooting is always caused by display drivers

Removing both AMD and NVIDIA drivers and containers and installing your latest driver fixes the issue

so after a few more games i have some feedback. The game is now broken since the last patch it seems. i can't get a run without freeze for a LONG time while loading objects, i got some lost servers and the most beautiful one is a black screen making it impossible to interact with anything. i already checked my computer i have way enough in specs and it never happened for a year while i was playing 2 wipes ago so here it is. From another pc that is not infected with malware please change your email's password and add 2 step verification on your email. Make sure there's no email forwarding nor backup emails added.
Then reset your tarkov password and reformat your main pc. (reformat optional but it's highly likely your main pc is infected with malware of some kind).

Hello, I am currently trying to reinstall Tarkov after not having played it for a little while and all goes well up until I start unpacking, at which point the BSGlauncher starts throwing several error codes, which i can go back and find again. Ive done just about everything I could to remedy this, complete wipe, restarting pc, Ive made sure I dont have any duplicate files, Ive ran the launcher and installer as admin, Ive done this for a total of about 8 different times trying different things that may have been causiong issues. If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. Hard to get started - yes, 110% true. I wouldn't be here if not my friend, who patiently teach me a lot. Even if you don't have one, it's still possible to learn from streamers, guides and from community, just prepare to spend lot of time digging for info and making rookie mistakes 🙂 (which is a fun part sometimes)

If you are familiar with mil sim games, like, lets say, ARMA, youll be comfortable with controls and game pace. But learning maps, completing quests, getting used to economics - it's a hard learning curve, not gonna lie

No, nothing like that. The game itself is the same for every edition.
But the more expansive version, the more useful things youll get from the start.

For example you can upgrade your Stash during the game up to lvl 4, it will increase your storage space for items. Standard edition starts with lvl 1 and youll upgrade the stash like every other hideout module. But the most expansive edition (Unheard) will start with lvl 4 right away. Same with you pocket size and secured container - there's a quest for everyone to get bigger pockets and better container, but Unheard will start with 3x3 container right away.

So everything is achievable for free during the game, but it's just easier and faster to start with more expansive one. But I will strongly recommend to start from Standard and see if you want to upgrade. You just have to pay the difference to upgrade to better edition, noy buy it for full price later.

Honestly standard is far superior to other editions a lot of the fun I have in the game comes from not having max traders day 3 and having to pick and choose what to keep and what to get rid of. Plus I can sleep at night not having spent 250 dollars on a single game buy standard then buy clair obscur great game

try flushing your dns, reset your routers ip (if its dynamic this from most providers also flushes your DNS) also try and although risky disable all your anti virus stuff if its not a issue when your anti virus is off you can always make a inbound and outbound rule in your firewall for tarkov

IF that is the problem it's your internet connection from your ISP, it's wrongly configured for the game and only they can change it.

@smoky pumice ty for your response. the "Object reference..." issue appears only if i manage to get into the game and extract. while the loading screen appears it will crash just before the main menu with this error, sometimes my pc just restarts by itself. what confuses me is that this happens ONLY in escape from tarkov specificly....
bsod-page_fault... error will occur as soon as i hit the play button on the launcher, sometimes the game will just start fine and everything works normal untill i leave the raid the errors happen.
if i start the game after the random restart of the pc via launcher again the bsod-error will occur with the what failed info"BEDaisy.sys.
