Aftrer ver.16 i noticed chaning page file sixe helped, both with game stability right after wipe and not to few experienced game crashing while loading in. Fixed this issue, or improved it by 90%.. Regarding general performance, cant say iv noticed much difference. And my page filewas just above 4gb for unknown reason. Maybe i was tired last time i changed it, hehe. Also have 32gb ram.. In general, tarkov runs terrible on maps that had best and most stable performance pre wipe, but shoreline and woods runs about the same. Sometime worse and not to rare a small increase in fps. Luckily cuustoms runs ok, yet to experience the issues many complain about. But, i am having a hard time with interchange when im inside the building. Map runs terrible vs pre wipe. Idk, but everything from server im connected to to perhaps latest unity handling of lights seem to cause issues in interchange.

Like, twice i been "afk" doind something else, hear pmc and pop in game. Dude actes like he does not see my exact position, then stops go back and "head and nape" instant death... Done it twice, and 2 others i played with also reported him when doing the same tactic as above. Idk, does not make sense. As before, made 0 noise etc to pinpoint i was where i was while trying to tweak something. When we did trio, also identical tactic. YO so like, New PC, been playing for like a month and some buds or other Tarkov-ers have way better FPS than me. I don't crash unless it's the typical tarkov crashing stuff. For my rig I've got a 1tb NVME which tarkov is on, Rtx 3080, 64gb ddr4, Ryzen 9 5900x, and I get like 30 frames on average on every map aside from labs. It's pretty garbo.

AM asking for why and or some form of assistance. I am using Process Lassso already and I have also watched various how to guides from popular or unknown sources on how to improve frames its still round 30-40 frames. ALso have reinstalled Nvida drivers.

Thinking about uninstalling and than re-installing Tarkov or something.

@gilded steppe yea, but mainly only affect me and 1 person. If she hoast i can get a error and have to reload. If i hoast she gets error most of the time and have to reload. Last time we ended up on different servers. When this happens we often spawn on the opposite side of the map.. Kinda annoying, but at least i manage to load in most of the time when she is the hoast.. No issues when playing as pmc

Any arena gamers having trouble finding matches? (NA) Trying to get some dailys done, I've waited 15 min 3 times and no matches found. Doesnt matter for Teamfight/blast gang or checkpoint .. If I put on automatic server detection, after 10 mins I get into a game with 180 ping. All wipe my q times have almost been instant but since the recent patch they have been horrible

Anyone else have issues with lag? Ping seems to be fine, under 50. But at random it can jump to several hundereds to even above 1k. Or, ping is fine but then lag and teleporting and it is like connection is lost for a split second. Very annoying, has even killed me. Like one time in customs, meet scav and i shot him probably 10-15 times in face and head (close range) plus rest was upper body and face. Scav recived 0 damage . Teleported back to him maybe 5 times, scav also teleported. I recied damage on every damned shot. 2 mags later, and trying to find cover i gave up. And he killed me after hitting me between 10-20 times. One of few times i got kinda pissed off, lost a small fortune in gear and task failed xD

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

@astral wagon Yupp, also 5g internet. But i might ad, i also play with someone with fiber, same issue regarding lag and random stutters. It all started with latest wipe. Has improved a tad compared to right after they released the patch, but it is still very unstable. Also seems it depends on map, interchange can be a sob. Some raids random stutter happens often. I assumed a few things can be the cause. 1, players joining and maybe their ping. 2, ai spawnning in = micro stutter to lag and 3. Players extracting. Also, if allot of action is going on. Nades flying all over the place can cause lag. Also what server i end up on affects the issue, good ping, etc when random spikes happen. Last thing, 3 people in a group can experience same lag or stuttering, to teleporting even when ping seems fine. So, idk if wifi is the main cause. My wifi is about 600mb/s, my internet is over 100mb/s . Not sure how fast the 3 person i play with has, but im guessing above 100mbs. This is all the info i can come up with that might be helpful EDIT: Bit late respons. Had to go after i asked about lag issue, and i just got home xD

Majority of the issues involving lag is typically packet loss, in which most cases is caused by things spawning in or too much load on the servers because the servers for tarkov are not in particularly very high quality.

Question for you fellow Escape Fron Tarkov gamers. Why is it that a system with a Ryzen 9 5900x, 64gb ddr4 3600mhz, and a Rtx 3080 can't reach round or above 40 fps average on popular maps of Tarkov?

I have gone through various guides to improve performance. I have installed the latest bios along with system drivers for chipsests and gpu and cpu and what not. I ended up reinstalling windows and got done with that round 30 mins ago and I go to boot into Tarkov. Freshly downloaded thinking I'd at least get above or around 90 fps but I'm still averaging 40 on most maps.

Hello, I formatted my computer and changed my SSD (old and new, still same error both). I tried every way right now; there is no problem on the PC. I can play every game without any problem. PC specifications are enough, which I have been playing Tarkov since 2020, but for some reason it started to give such an error now. Hi, I recently installed a DAC and since installing it, I am facing an issue where the audio in game randomly goes quiet for a few seconds then slowly rises up to normal. Hello, i have an issue with my raids lately. I play PvE and after sometime my game freezes with the only thing to do is to restart the game, my gear is just like how i went into the raid so the raid just doesnt count. sometimes i cause it by ADSing with a magnified scope and sometimes it happens on itself. i really dont know what causes this, but its very annoying since i havent finished my last 5 raids but didnt even lose any gear because it just returns on me after the restart

Kinda annoying, i think high texture quality looks much better, but tarkov can max out my vram from time to time. When i set in on high vram usage is 7950 to 8050+ in general. But at times it uses every mb that is on my gpu.. Medium setting also uses allot considering the visual difference. Medium = mostly few 100mb above 7gb

So, if nvidida gave the card 11gb instead of lousy 8gb it would to this day still be a ok card for 1080p or 1440p. Im using a 1440p monitor, but played tarkov on my 4k tv long time ago with gtw 1080. That was fun, sitting close to a 60 inch 4k monitor. Could spot players from a mile away, very clear image. Better than 1440p, even if the screen is much smaller than a 60inch monitor. I cant understand why people still get 1080p or think it looks fine. It looks terrible, at least after getting used to 4k xD

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

Now it's unplayable. My video card produces 10 fps at 30% performance. How what? Even if I have 90 fps by accident, the game still lags.

I wouldn't expect the GPU to be too used on this game. It's VERY cpu heavy as most games built in Unity are. Especially since a lot of the game is simulation and calculations.

I went to the Lighthouse to submit the first step of the Lighthouse trader’s quest (taking a black car with five maps and marking the two armored vehicles in the streets). After that, the Lighthouse trader's dialogue got stuck, and I couldn't accept a new quest. I could only wait for the trader to tell me that I had occupied too much time and ask me to leave the Lighthouse.

I waited for about 48 hours and then entered the Lighthouse map again using the same steps. However, this time I was unable to receive the next stage of the quest. I did receive the rewards for the first stage, which seemed to be some kind of electronic-related textbook.

Game just crashes or freezes(with BSOD outcome) in hideout, stash, during loading screens(starting game or leaving raid, mainly)
Takes me like an hour just to start some craft in the hideout sometimes - having to start the game 10-15 times without getting in, then throw in a bluescreen in the middle of that, just to finally get into the game - go to hideout without crashing, click anything like Hall of Fame or Workbench just to instantly crash and do it all over again 🙂

the game starts properly and starts to go into the raid properly. as soon it finishes loading and goes to start the actual raid the fps drops and it takes ages to load in. When it finally loads the gpu runs at 30% utilisation and my fps is low as hell occasionally jumping to 40-50 for a few seconds. The game played well up until a couple of weeks ago on the same system. I have tried multiple games and no issues. Arena plays like shit as per usual so "no problem"

Anyone else having discord issues lately where people's stream ends up freezing and then a little while later the person can't talk either and has to reboot their entire discord? Sometimes it works fine, then the next day it just keeps bugging out over and over. Feels like it's a discord issue.

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.
