You can download the BIOS from the ASUS website
You can then launch your system and enter the BIOS by pressing F2 or DEL on post
Then you can navigate to the EZ Flash feature and you can select the BIOS file from the file explorer

You can look up a video to see someone show it if you need to but with that motherboard you may not even need a USB

im brazilian and i play in the south america server (usually 40 ping or less) and i have a very smooth experience in maps like ground zero or factory regarding connection, but as soon as i enter maps like interchange my ping skyrockets to 300 (???)
i can say this is not an internet connection problem as i always play in discord calls and they dont lag at all while this ping problem happens in tarkov
is there a way to change some settings and be able to play interchange and other maps without being kicked in 15 seconds?

If you don't have a page file set, you can try doing that. If you do; 32GB of RAM is likely to resolve the issues loading the location, it will stop crashing but it will not give more FPS

I highly doubt its nvidia even if it's outdated, in my experience its usually software like rgb tied to your hardware and it's drivers. A ball park guess is for example "RGBFusion" is something that casuses issues for many. If you have any software like those I'd uninstall them completely, try for a day and see if it's fixed

Does anyone else have trouble loading into streets runs on scavs randomly? Like yesterday I did 3 scav streets runs totally fine but I tried to load one today and it would go through the normal loading process but get slower and slower untill I was stuck on loading loot pools and my entire game was frozen and I had to kill the task in task manager

it's so strange because normally I have no issues and load in in less than 5 minutes

when I close all the way out and try to rejoin the same raid it faces the same issue

also unrelated but how do I fix this without reinstalling my game

Make sure you aren't playing with High textures, make sure you have a page file managed between 16000MB and 30000MB if you don't know how to do that I can send a guide.
Make sure all of your drivers and stuff are up to date, including chipset drivers, vBIOS, display drivers and make sure your RAM is seated correctly in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4

From My Experience Tarkov still has Memory leaks considering getting 32gbs of ram boosted my fps by 30 and made me be able to run streets and any map without any stutters whatsoever compared to the constant ones i had with 16gbs
Only thing overclocked is my ram with XMP

Tarkov used to be unable to clear the standby memory list once you exited a location, meaning the memory allocated for the map you just played would remain paged. So it would cause the issue that you RAM would indefinitely keep filling up and up until either the game or your system crashed. (or a game restart occured)
Tarkov is now able to clear the standby list on it's own and they even added the automatic RAM cleaner setting which will purge the standby list when you are in a menu.
When you leave a raid, standby memory and in-use memory that is set to be released is purged and RAM usage plummets, if it were a memory leak it would continue to increase.

I can't say for sure, 5800x3d with a decent gpu will run streets just fine assuming you're not on 4k+ resolution.

But 980 is quite old.

Regardless, tarkov relies very heavily on the CPU and the 5800x3d is one of the best options for it.

DDR5 doesn't really have a massive difference in tarkov.
It's mostly just the x3D that does the heavy lifting.

7700x is slightly better than 7600x, but probably should be ~same for tarkov.

If you're planning on upgrading to 8000 series amd supposedly coming out this year sometime, then 7600x isn't a terrible choice.
But if you don't plan on changing your cpu for a long time, then you should really get the 7800x3d now.

If you typed this number correctly you are on a alpha or beta version of windows that may or may not be supported for tarkov

In the past this problem was usually caused by unsupported versions of windows

You might need to downgrade to a public version of windows 11 pro that is not in the insider program

so guy joined my on dc and laughed and said my fault bro then both my screens went black, i then emergency shut down my pc by holding the power button just incase he somehow took over my pc, when i turned it back on however my screeen was flickering quite a lot then stopped and started a few times, first question is was i just hacked second is he cant continue accessing my pc right?? and third question is, was the flickering from him or from me shutting down my pc?

Is there many reported issues with the launcher lately. Its doing my nut in. Ever since the last patch it doesn't load I've to reopen it like 20 times then it might say install game rather than play so have to kill the process again and keep trying

I just upgraded my Tarkov from standard edition to prepare. But since then I can no longer start my Tarkov, I only get error messages. (See screenshot) What I have already done is reinstalled and this also in a different location, but this has no effect. Can someone help me?

my game has been bugging lately i cant get into raid without extreme packet loss and on occasion i will dc and i get an error box say something like "Anti cheat connection error" ive already verified game files changed server cleared cahce idk how to fix this

Make the game exes (Escapefromtarkov.exe and Escapefromtarkov_BE.exe) and the launcher exe (bsglauncher.exe) run as admin in the right click menu on the EXE > properties > compatibility tab > check run as admin.
