Do any devs check the discord? Sounds like tons of people can't get verification email sent to their email. I only updated my motherboard bios and now it thinks I have new hardware. EFT launcher trying to do second-factor authenticaition code but refuses to send email verification/confirmation code. I can get PW link to reset instantly, but not confirmation code. Insanely frustrating. Tried opening a support ticket with no response and have spammed it a bunch with no luck.

Yeah, I've tried 100+ times since last night. It has to be a BSG server side error b/c password re-set link works instantly. Fixes my shit. First, log out in the launcher. Close it, check in taskmgr that it's all closed. Sign out of windows. Sign back in, go to environment variables, delete tmp and temp folders, restart. Go to program files x86/common/battleye and delete everything. Run launcher as admin, log in, clear cache, set to leave launcher open while game runs. Launch game.

I also didn't experience anything like this in the last 2 wipes. Other than your regular run-in to hackers that can freeze you or disconnect you somehow. It happens, there is no session waiting to be started, you're a scav, the session already started long ago, it's trying to load you into a server that is closed. And no it shouldn't be doing this permanently, I would change what servers you are playing on in your launcher and I would stop tabbing out while loading as the issue probably occurs due to the server closing after you matched into it because no players are in the raid.

WORK Around for new matchmaking BUG. let leader start game: do not back out. If he ends up loading in the match alone then the others should exit the game and when you relanch you should get option to reconnect. (currently testing)

Its not about chip performance again, all the textures are loaded onto vram which having them higher quality wont impact your fps much but it will take up more vram which once it fills up will affect your performance

Its really just badly optimised/written code

Basicly taking up the memory but forgetting to release the memory once it is done using it

Most games do that but usually to somewhat limited extend (takes a while)

Or in the extremes it might be memory leaks where it keeps writing data it doesnt need to write

The only way to help this is else buy a gpu with more vram or solder more (dont do it, its hella risky), or decrease texture/effect quality so it fills up slower

Restarting the game helps because it automaticly closes all processes and memory reservations

And just to explain it, once the vram fill up fully it lowers your fps because else:

• game forcefully cleans vram which means more cpu usage and the gpu chip has to load textures again (if cleaning process is not done perfectly which it for sure wont be)
• vram cant be cleaned so gpu uses much much slower dedicated ram which slows the processes down resulting in lower fps

Make the game exes (Escapefromtarkov.exe and Escapefromtarkov_BE.exe) and the launcher exe (bsglauncher.exe) run as admin in the right click menu on the EXE > properties > compatibility tab > check run as admin.
