this is pointless as the launcher doesn’t allow any other method besides the primary email verification code so even if you can access the website by 2FA codes or backup emails, you cannot login to the launcher to actually play the game

Now what i'm about to say is not factual, so don't treat it as such, and don't share it as factual: But i believe the problem is kind of on both ends. BSG Has some sort of an issue, which is causing Outlook to block emails , so when BSG gets whatever issue they have, Outlook will allow the emails to go through. This is atleast what i believe is happening. Its the weekend and new years eve, this won't be fixed today most likely, so just kick back, relax, and just take it easy. It sucks yes, but there's nothing we can do.

I Know, i'm in the same boat as you and many others. But everytime i've had this issue over the years, its been fixed by BSG, or its fixed itself. It just hit at the worst possible time, and it sucks. Just gotta keep cool, and not get hostile, especially with the moderators who are here to help, its not their fault that it's not working.

I think past instances have been much less severe and widespread and he commented based on that. His comment itself isn't a problem, it's the lack of any official response so that's basically the last thing we've had from BSG on the issue
