(Tips for noob pretty please.) I am 34 and have a good understanding of 1st person shooters PubG being my fav because its realistic damage count healing etc, So im level 5 I play solo at the moment trying to get some friends on to EFT too. 1st Question if you work out a good scav run is it a good path to start for your PMC runs, obvioulsy being more careful if you last long enough to be near scav extracts, should i be going in all guns blazing with my best gear and insuring it or should i be running pistol and nothing else, I find most of the time it takes a good 4 mins to find a game as a pmc am i be loaded in with people who have played the wipe before. I have extracted 2x as PMC in proper runs but feel i should be having more success. Ive only played factory and customs

If you get an infinite repair loop windows defender is removing files. Add the game folders and the launcher folders to windows defender exclusion list and reboot and run the launcher as admin.

it should repair then. If not, a full reinstall will definately.

I'm having and issue with controls/keybinds. My issue is when I set the keybinds in arena my EFT keybinds resets to default, and when I set my EFT keybinds my arena keybinds resets to default.

When I updated to 0.14 my keybinds were reset. This reset my arena keybinds as well. While it felt super unfortunate, I was okay with going back and changing all my keybinds again since I thought it was because there is vaulting now. I closed out and hopped on a few hours later and my keybinds were reset again with the same message popping up that my controls were set to default. Is there anything I can do to get my old settings back (just the previous wipe 13.9)? If not, do I have to reset my keybinds every time I hop on from now on?

There is an ini file you can restore to restore your binds but if it detects it is corrupt it will just replace them again.

The control.ini file here stores your settings. Set your settings, close the game, copy this file to the desktop or save it.

Hi so I got access to EFT arena on the 25th of December, when the update went live tonight my game reported that the file was corrupted and unreadable. After doing the full repair reinstall cycle that the launcher prompted me through it gave the same error. I tried uninstalling the game and it failed to uninstall, it gave a file corrupted and unreadable error for the uninstaller program. After this I tried uninstalling through the control panel and got the same message. After this I booted in safe mood and for the same issue. It seems the uninstaller successful got rid of all of the files and left me with 711 empty folders... Except I can't delete the folders because I get a corrupt and unreadable error. I start going through the folders and find the only one that won't open and gives me an error. HOW THE FUCK IS IT LAST MODIFIED 4 DAYS BEFORE I INSTALLED THE GAME PLEASE HELP I DON'T UNDERSTAND. The only I haven't tried from the windows help list is resetting the drive. It's on my m.2 and it's the same drive windows is installed on, I really don't want to have to

Havent found a solution yet, theres a lot of different methods claim to work... but i think its random at this point, and some people are just unlucky 🙂

as of rn, im using a friends account which gives me the authentication coe intantly, so i guess the bug is linked to my acc?
