Sadly all I can tell you is that your PC is not on par with what you should want when playing Tarkov, I would recommend at minimum 32GB of RAM and 8GB of VRAM on your GPU, you don't have either of these and your CPU is not able to keep up either it's very outdated and Tarkov is poorly optimised and requires lots of memory, it's time to upgrade

This is not a bug, if you attempt to go near the river on Customs you will die very quickly if you are not wearing a gas mask.

And also to put your mind at ease when you were talking about Tarkov lore and the interactions of scav bosses and scavs; Scav bosses will kill AI scavs that wander too close to them. Not just players. @muted ether

There is no spawn that put you directly inside the death area, if you spawned on Customs you will be poisoned regardless of where you are (it's a new event, it's unavoidable)
You died because you went directly next to the river without a gas mask.

You will have green goo on your face unless you complete the event questlines, just like everyone else in the game right now.

A GP5 or GP7 gas mask will prevent you from dying when you are at the river on Customs. You are poisoned regardless of wearing a mask or not.

All the poison does is put green goo on your screen and give your PMC a pain debuff for 10 seconds every few minutes, it doesn't damage you at all...

If you want to cure yourself, do the quests, it's like 3 quests and takes a couple of hours

It's not a punishment, it's content for players to do at the end of a wipe cycle

Part 1) Place a gas analyser at the river on Customs (You will need a gas mask or you will die)
Part 2) Kill 15 scavs near the clinic on Streets of Tarkov
Part 3) Kill Sanitar and loot the marked saline solution and hand it in
Part 4) Hand in a bloodset and Fence will give you the cure (You are now cured, no more toxin)
Optional; part 4) Hand in medical tools
Part 5) Go to Shoreline and find Sanitar's letter, hand it in to Therapist
Part 6) Find the package of stimulants on Labs or Lighthouse and hand them in (You are now cured but you also unlocked the ability to barter for some good stims from Therapist)
The Antitoxin must be used IN RAID to work, if you return to the Customs river you will be poisoned again with no way to cure yourself.

That's the entire quest line, you can choose to either do the short version and cure yourself, or you can do the longer version and also unlock some nice stimulants from Therapist

If you don't cure yourself, all that happens is you get the green goo on the edges of your screen, and your PMC will get a headache for a few seconds every few minutes, you take ZERO damage from this

If you have received email stating you have received access and are having troubles installing Arena, this may help.

• Clear cache on launcher and then exit the launcher, close any launcher background processes (and/or restart your PC), then open the launcher as admin.
  If that does not work, try the following step.
• Try moving Tarkov folder to a separate folder (if installed), clear your cache and temp files. Reinstall the launcher and open the .exe as admin. If this works, you can move your Tarkov folder back.

This is not guaranteed to work, please do not ping moderators for assistance for technical issues if this does not work.

This is a bunch of crap. The launcher isn't downloading anything. I've tried clearing cache, starting as administrator, rebooting, etc. Nothing works. Both EFT and Arena are not installing/downloading. It just shows an ICON and then does nothing.
Is there a way to completely delete it all from registry?

I have a really strange niche issue. So when I launch the game, every time I move my mouse it causes a micro stutter. This has rendered the game unplayable obviously, but what is strange is that if I dont give my mouse any input the game actually runs smooth and no stutters. BUT as soon as I give my mouse and input it starts to stutter.
