A couple of days ago someone helped me here and they gave a good advice but I need a bit more help.
My config is:
Ryzen 3 3100
16gb 3200mhz ram
RTX 3050 8GB
The game is on a 7200rpm HDD, BUT with the black friday sales it will change and i'll buy an SSD for it.
So to get to the point, before getting into the black friday deals, I wanted to do a benchmark with my config in EFT, see how it's doing.
While doing the benchmark, my GPU usage was around 50%, it said that EFT only uses like 3-4GB VRAM (even tho it said that 7.5GB is requested) and around 4GB RAM. (even tho it said that 12GB is requested) My frametime is full of spikes and I had FPS drops, once the game even froze for like 2-3 secs.
During all this, my CPU was constantly running on 3900mhz, so probably on 100%
The question is, my CPU is that shit and it holds the game back this much? Or what's causing this?

ps: the first 2 secs are manually frozen frames to explain the graph layout, the other frozen frames are 100% lags

hi, most likely u are "cpu & ram limited" this game is based on "unity engine" and "unity" eats alot of "ram & cpu", plus the game is always having "memory leaks" u have to constantly restart the game after a few raids to "kinda" solve it, "full pc restart works well". finally imo if u can upgrade cpu and ram thats the best step

It will help a lot. Writing speed is important here. On my old computer I installed the game on a newer external disk, and it increased the speed over having it on a HDD.

I'm having major issues installing the actual game. The installer is working just fine, but whenever I go to install the game, it doesn't allow me to install in the location where I have enough storage. I install all of my games on my External Hard Drive and whenever I attempt to install it tells me I cannot. I did a trick where you make a "BattleState Games" file and try to install it there, but whenever I click install, it asks me if I want to allow the changes, I click yes, and it just simply doesn't install. Idk what to do and I really want to play this game.

You need to change the TEMP folder in the launcher settings to be on another drive since C is full. Note that putting tarkov on a mechanical drive - especially on USB 3 - will make your load times severely longer.

Make a folder on another drive called TEMP and set the temp folder in the launcher settings to that and it will install.

This is an old bug that I have encountered many times. It will automatically fix itself when it feels like and break itself when it feels like. Try scaving in a different map since streets is a big map and performance issues causes you to crash/kick you from the raid. Also you might get the same issue on lighthouse aswell

I am unable to find a solution in the past for this rare issue which I've only seen once before. Please uninstall the launcher, reboot, and download a new launcher exe from the website.

You might need to disable windows defender and white list the launcher and game folder in windows defender as well.

Other things to try involve updating windows, checking the disk for errors, running DISM tool to repair windows image and installing in safe mode.

The problem sounds like windows is corrupted or the disk is corrupted.
