Okay well, mp4 files on an SSD. I permanently deleted them, used a program to recover them, and now they are corrupt

When you delete something you allow windows to overwrite those files with data for other files. There is no way to recover them if they are overwritten.

The second you mark it as deleted and empty the recycle bin (or do what you did) the drive marks it as empty space and it can be overwritten with anything including logs and other files. There's no telling.

If your recovery software like recuva says it's not completely intact there's nothing you can do.

Alright EFT experts, I’m in desperate need of some help, I have insane lag whenever I shoot full auto or even just rapid tapping. I recently upgraded from a 1660ti to a 6950 TX and I did the whole DDU thing where you delete old nvidia drives, I enabled MIP streaming, I’ve disabled binaural audio. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, I’ve verified files. I’m honestly at my wits end. As of 2 days ago I tried to get ahold of support but haven’t heard back. Does anyone have any fixes?

thats usually an issue due to conflicting drivers, in your case going from nvidia to radeon, i know you've already used DDU but i highly urge you to uninstall the nvidia drivers, uninstall the radeon drivers, then reinstall the radeon drivers. make sure to just select the nvidia and radeon option and not tamper with anything

it sounds like your utilization is low

because your frames should be well above 100

what can help, slowly increasing your settings, not to the highest but slightly more and more

until your utilization of gpu and cpu is quite high on task manager

then, if your gpu is too low, you can undervolt it to squeeze out more performance

there's many things you can do, and should do, that's quite an easy fix

There are no known bugs that cause this nor have I ever heard of such a problem, ever. The most likely explaination is that you are on the wrong account or are mistaken.

I suspect you mean you upgraded to the EOD edition and are now on a lower edition, that has not ever happened.

Usually crashing while loading streets is a ram issue, add page file

Try adding 16000MB minimum and 25000MB maximum page file to an SSD as shown here and reboot:

When trying to load into a scav raid / PMC raid, I always start with the packet loss icon (the one with the x and trident shape) I think. I always have anywhere from 20-60 percent loss and it always goes away after a few - 20 minutes in raid. It's really random and makes the game unplayable. It's worse on scav raids for some reason and most of the time I can't scav raid on most maps because it will be 80%....

I have no wifi problems with other games and also using ethernet doesn't fix the problem.

I've asked this question a couple times and no one could solve the issue.

If all else doesn't work then many people say that reinstalling windows will help, but leave this as a very last resort

Disable any firewalls you have. That might be causing this. Disable antivirus especially windows defender. Additionally, white list the launcher and game folders in windows defender and reboot (even if it's disabled this helps).

You can also reinstall the launcher with the latest version from the website.

Go to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Battlestate Games\BsgLauncher and delete (or backup) the settings file.
Start Launcher and login. The Launcher wants to install the game.
Close Launcher. Open the settings File (C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Battlestate Games\BsgLauncher\settings) with a text editor and where it says "gameRootDir":null you have to edit it like that:
"gameRootDir":"C:\BsgLauncher\EFT"
or wherever your game is installed.
Start Launcher an play.

I have a solution to a similar TLS/SSL error but I am not sure if this will work for this.

First, create a restore point so you can undo any changes. (Start > type "create a restore point", choose that, click "create" and name it.)

To fix the TSL SSL error "Local problems on post" navigate to this registry key in the registry editor (start > registry editor):

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.3\Client

And right click the "Enabled" key on the right and modify the data to be 0 and not a 1. Click OK and then reboot and try the game again.

That confirms what I see too. Please contact your ISP as they have this service enabled for your cell service, ask them to unblock all domans for "escapefromtarkov.com" and "eft-store.com" and "battlestategames.com"

But totally disabling that should fix it.

I am just unsure if you can manually white list websites.
