during matchmaking, yes. If you get swamped by a lot of errors continuously, you have the bug and you should kill the process immediately and try to restart and reconnect

once you're loading in without error, you can close the console

from my experience a few will severely throttle you after using it for a bit

I use Nord, used it on COD Ghosts / Modern Warfare to test things and it was hard to tell if it was connectivity issues or from the VPN.

Just fair warning don't VPN into Asian servers.

The lag will still regardless still feel pretty substantial, but it can help you from getting kicked due to excessive ping.

Hi, I'm having a problem with tarkov; This morning I played with some friends and then everyone went their own way when the ping started to go wrong, I thought it was my internet so I restarted it but it continued so I put the servers on automatic and it continues, I selected the servers with less ping that I have (northern europe and western russia) and it's also doing pretty badly for me.
A guy told me to change my DNS (I don't even know what it is) and it seems to have made it worse.

I did get killed by that hacking player and he managed to error/crash me out of my game, thus being unable to report the player or look at his IGN. This was the screen I was brought to just before the game crashed, anyone else have this happen to them?

Hi, I have problems connecting to servers from my home, this has been happening for months now, every raid i get connection loss or get into raid but after a few minutes get booted and i find myself dead in main menu after a game restart... it started i think around oct/nov last year, so already before the wipe, since then i was able to play around 3-5 scav raids definetly not more and the ONLY fix for this was to move my pc and use it at my friends place where i didnt have any problems... since i cant go to him every day to play, this is quite frustrating and i really wanna know whats up i have tried every solution i could find on the internet and nothing helped... pls i wanna play this game i paid 120€ and cant play anymore... i am trying every few days if something changed and today i was actually able to play my first scav raid this wipe from home, i was hyped and thought it finally fixed itself.. after that i got 2 dc`s from pmc raids before i even joined the match.. since a few time ago i'm experiencing loading issues when im loading into a scav or pmc raid it stutters on "loading map" at 48, 52, 54 & 56% for ~5 seconds during this numbers it's kinda a luck based game 50/50 if it's freezing and crashing shortly after it. I also tried already a lot of things:

• Reinstalled Windows
• Clean nvidia driver re-installation (DDU wipe)
• Reinstalled the Game (also checked file integration etc.)

If the problem is you having dual stack lite BSG can't fix it. You must have your ISP change you to regular dual stack.

If you have fritz box you might be able to change this on your end in the settings.

you don't need to open ports at all, just switch to dual stack in the options which is one of the options. If that doesn't work you should call your ISP
