Issue: Game refuses to push above 100fps in low-intensity areas and purposfully refuses to use my gpu in higher-intensity areas resulting in less then optimal framerates.

Specs:
3900x
16gb 3200mhz
6700xt

1080p no FSR

Low intensity areas fps hovers around 95-100, but does not push to the limited 144 set in the options, no matter if it's low graphics, high graphics, with FSR or no FSR.
When looking in higher intensity areas, fps drops to around 60-80, but GPU usage only sits at 50-60%.
Other games do not have this issue.
Game is ran with admin perms.
Tested fullscreen, borderless windowed.

If you're having connection issues, your pc specs aren't needed.
You have to check your own internet as well as what servers your connecting to via the launcher.
If you're getting dc'd, cause you're trying to play in servers that are on the opposite side of the globe, the issue would be easy to spot.

monitor individual core usage in raid. you're probably maxing out 1 core the game is utilising and your cpu is limiting you. make sure smt/hyperthreading is enabled with process lasso, the ingame physical core option is broken

@zinc elk ive put 1500 hours into the game so i think i can say a little on it, though my numbers are considered rookie numbers to a lot of people. its a game you gotta invest time into, it can be frustrating, and might not be especially fun at the start cause it will feel like you are smashing your head against a brick wall, but it does quickly get better with understanding. This game has maybe the highest highs of any game ive played, but it does that because it has some of the lowest lows. This game is not for everyone, but if you can power through id say about the first 20-40 hours, youll very likely enjoy it as many, many people do cause its a quite an active game and that doesnt seem to be changing

Obviously its a shooter, gunplay wise quite a good one (though 12.12 lessened that a little to me), very slow, very tactical, very "realistic." If you've played and enjoyed anything like arma/squad/dayz/pubg(a little), you'll likely enjoy the game play in this, as it far excels over those other games (squad pretty solid though). Mix in some really good (in that its rewarding) progression to keep you coming back and wanting more as the experience just grows as you learn and unlock more and improve as a player both through knowledge (most knowledge), and skill.

My game suddenly just decided to stop working. It runs noticeably worse than last week even in menus, loading into games takes 4 times longer than before. Whenever I load in I almost immediately get disconnected, an authorisation error or an anti cheat error. Whenever I get sent back to the main menu because of these, the game freezes

Also, whenever any map reaches 56% loaded, the game will freeze for up to five minutes and then finish loading the map and move onto the next step of connecting to a game

@zinc elk A raid is like running a map aka "loading until a raid" a wipe is the game wipes every 6 months which makes everyone start from lvl 1. A easy way to check what amo a gun takes is right clicking and link searching the gun itself and go under amo. you can also inspect a weapon and it will tell you in the name

On the first day of the new wipe 0.13 I had no problems at all no stutters no crashes nothing. fast forward 3 weeks, I got into a reserve raid and I had insane stutters there every time I shoot or move I have like a 1-2 second stutter. @wicked pewter i've been troubleshooting the same problem since this morning. you could try turning off binaural audio i left it on cause it wasnt causing problems for me but for some reason today it started. It caused my fps to go from 50-90 on streets to 10-25 and my audio was playing double and crackling even after many restarts. but turning off binaural fixed it.

I do that every time. The monitors all have the same name and the game will start on a random monitor and I have to go down the list until it pops up on my center screen. I save it but next time I have to repeat the process unless it starts up in the center by chance.

My friend is having an issue where I'll start loading loot, while he'll still be loading map, and he'll always be a little behind (Im 80% loading loot while hes 45%) Then, when I get in the raid, he is awaiting session start, or still loading loot. Eventually, his screen just freezes and he has to restart his game/pc. This happens on all maps but Interchange, and woods. There were some maps we could load at the beginning of the wipe, but as the hotfixes have came out, it seems like there have been more and more maps that have stopped working for him. He has played Tarkov for 3 wipes, and been able to load all maps easily every wipe. Just wondering if this is a problem felt by other people, and if there is some kind of fix for it.

The items from your scav raids will not go to your stash because there is a glitched item in your stash already, like in the video I sent yesterday.

You will just lose the scav raid items every time.

Why does Tarkov use such little VRAM? I'm using Ultra texture settings and using in-game FPS 3 - the game is reporting that I'm only using 4.5GB of my 12GB VRAM on my 3080 Ti.

I have lost audio myself when the game is loading, all I do is shut off my headset (or disconnect the USB wifi adapter) and when Windows recognizes the audio, it has audio again. Hope this helps you
