again it increases cpu usage when it's not on the system drive generally you never need to mess with it auto is fine on the same drive the os is on it ensures the lowest latency and reduces cpu cycles. the stuttering problem is probably due to the memory leak in unity tho or there could be something else hence look at the eft logs to see if they say anything about the issue at all. with unity a lot of the time it's gonna be the leak. if your going to manually set your page size set min and max to the same size so the system doesn't have to worry about shrinking or growing it saves cycles again

go to the instalation drive for eft if it's on your c: it will be C:\etf then you will see logs just open it with notepad or notepad ++ and it will tell you if there's any issues. unity likes physical cores it's not a big fan of multi or hyper and tends to have issues with those using a third party ram cleaner will also help with the memory leak

click on the most recent date then go through the logs it will tell you specifically what the issue is if there is any

there are about 50 differnt things can can cause stuttering in unity without knowing exactly what it is your shooting at ducks in the dark blindfolded

yea open that folder then read each one looking for errors or basically anything that sounds bad then look it up

as well stutters can be caused by back end which has nothing to do with you but rather the servers themselfs

well I didn't see all your logs but if I has to guess generally it's usually gonna be 1 of like 5 things. 1 heat and you don't dust your pc or clean the heatsinks 2 you have overclocking enabled and your pc is throwing a fit 3 memory leak 4 your graphics settings on your card are set up wrong or the games config is to high for your hardware or 5 your hardware isn't up to spec

After like 10 sec i get 30-40 fps (probably because scavs are spawning)

After some seconds i get 50-55 fps, sometimes it is smooth but usually feels disgusting

tarkov isn't 100% optimized... so you can't expect good performance local side without a serious cpu like a 5800 or a i7

idk tbh I ran tark on a 8350 with 16gb of ddr 3 for like a year and pulled 45 to 50 frames on my 2700 with 16gb I was pushing 50-60 on my 5800 with 128gb I do about 90-100

Ever since I downloaded the latest nividie update I have had major lag and stuttering issues. When playing as a PMC the game is just stuttering all the time. and as a scav I am not able to load into the raid. It takes 10 min to get inn the raid and then it immediately losses sever connection and quits the raid.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to setup the extra buttons of my mouse to useful functions like "discard" or "equip", but I'm having trouble because Tarkov detects those buttons as a "1 or 2" key, which conflicts with the standard weapon swap keybinds. Is there any way I can make the Logitech software or Tarkov itself detect those extra buttons as "mouse 4, 5, or 6"?

Recently did a win11 update and something didn’t go well and was having issues so I reinstalled the previous win 11 and now I get stuck on black screen after extract. I get raid end music and ambient sound like rain etc.. but stuck on an infinite black screen. Testing tarkov on a very old rig, 4gb ram, etc. Main menu works, Factory runs 30fps, trying to get customs to work.
atm running everything on the lowest / off graphics, are there any in game settings I can change to just squeeze out a gram of performance? Stuff like auto ram cleaner, or that bilateral sound, or use only physical cores, I have it all off, should I change it? Any advice?

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.3\Client

and delete the key that says ""enabled" value = 1" and reboot. (don't disable 1.2! only 1.3!) You can also change the 1 to 0 to turn it off instead of deleting it.

Does anyone know why my game says anticheat failed to connect only on reserve? it only happens when I am a scav, not PMC. I am confused because it cannot be the game taking up too much whatever on my computer because as PMC it runs fine all the time.

It shouldn't. Try white listing the tarkov game folder and the launcher folders in windows defender and allow the 3 exes through the firewall public/private and reboot.

So I keep getting "Anti cheat connection failed, please restart game" almost every raid. I did integrity check, cleared cache and reinstalled BE from the .bat files and now my game closes on launch every time. Any ideas? i checked the log files and it says this:

just an update on what I have done. I downloaded multiple older drivers and it still as not worked as it did before. What I did find out that the disconnecting only happens on lighthouse. I am not able to get into that map for some reason. the other maps are al working fine for now.
