Yes, this sounds like an ipv6 related issue with your ISP not having a dual stack connection to your router.

If you can play fine on another pc that would confirm something else is going on.

If that is the cause you will need to contact your internet provider and ask for a dual stack connection (not dual stack lite - that is not the same). You may need to ask for tier 2 support as the level 1 support may not know what this means.

To explain -in detail- what happened.
I was coming from the railroad and going up to the little checkpoint on the hill near the scav checkpoint extract. As I was walking up, I saw someone peeking around the wall. I wiggled to see if he was a scav. He then started shooting, and as stated, nearly blacked both my stomach and my leg. I shot back because obviously if he was hostile I wanted to kill him.
Post game, it counted as me killing him period, and I lost rep for it.

If the raid statistics screen shows the server I was on, then I can at least provide that much.

But I doubt it does. So I'm pretty sure that's .1 scav rep down the drain for a self-defense kill.

Guess I'll just have to set my geforce experience to save 20 minutes instead of five in case I get out of raid and spend the time trying to figure out the issue instead of saving it.

If you are adamant on playing with a VPN I mainly use VyprVPN when gaming on other games. But its mainly a general use VPN you could probably find some that would be better for gaming

StarVPN is what I use for games like Rust since some servers don't like VPNs. Still gets me past their blocker so I feel safe while playing. The $20 a month plan is what I'd recommend if you check them out.

Hello! I have a pretty annoying problem with lag in EFT. My specs are Intel core i5-7400 CPU @3.00GHz, 8gb RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4gb. I have friends with lower specs and their game works fine, no lag spikes or the slightest lag . When I play I close everything that might interfere with the game at the point where I got only EFT running an nothing else. I tried using their settings for the game but the lag still persists. I did malware check-ups and cleaned my pc, but the game still wont work the way its supposed to. I tried unninstalling the game from my hard and download it on my ssd but for some reason the game was woking worse and even crashing. Now I have it on my Hard drive and I dont know what else to do, ge force driver updates are up to date, and everything I know so far. I really love this game but the lag makes it a hard time for me to play, at the moment Im watching only yt videos of EFT because i cant play it myself. Got any suggestions I could try? its come to our attention few bugs in game ruining the gameplay
*we did test that on online and offline raids

1-(mostly in labs) there is a chance of players/AI to disappeared in raid randomly for few seconds ,they can still see you and you can hear their footsteps.
we faced this issue multiple times in labs.

2- the AXMC .338 have a low chance for ghost bullet : a shot that do zero damage to other player/AI.

3- we don't know if this one is a bug or silent change but AI now have extremely health bar, mean 3 shot on the face still do nothing also the raiders tank 10 shots of PS12B bullets specially the raiders

4- fragment chance on highs penetration ammos such BP and M62 is bugged and not working forcing players to use cheap ammo

5-Wiki need update,some quests not required for kappa still saying "Yes" in wiki page.

your cpu is just not strong enough for this game. This game is ram and cpu heavy. 8gb ram can only squeeze by ever so often and its very rare. I've yet to see anyone claiming they play on 8gb show me some proof. your gpu is fine aslong as you get more cpu and ram, you can balance the usage with the texture and shadow settings. Putting this game on a hard drive will not help you, You'll just load slower and possibly even get kicked from raids for anti cheat errors due to how long it takes, use an ssd, get atleast 12gb ram, get a better cpu.

The 25.4GB that the uninstall list says it's using is not true, as that is a glitch in windows. If you are running out of space when installing the game you could change the location of the temp folder in the launcher settings to be on D or try the manual install method in the pins.

Like you could change the temp folder to D:\TEMP and it will not use C for the temp folder

But if C is really that full that could be causing other issues

Basically on the verge of calling my bank and refunding the game which I have had since release.

I get password resets fine, but I cannot receive verification emails. Common fix is to launch the launcher again, yet I cannot even download the game. I recently reinstalled windows.

I tried adding IPs to host file, whitelisting all tarkov and bsg emails, etc. Nothing. Just not receiving the code. Not really sure what to do at this point.

Recently I tried to open my game and for some reason the launcher won't open no matter what I try. It won't even show up in task manager when I run the program.
I have tried:
Uninstalling/reinstalling the launcher
Uninstalling all game files
installing on a different drive
restarting/updating my computer
downloading all the applicable .NET files
opening the file directly from the folder, not from a desktop shortcut
restarting my router
disabling my antivirus
using a VPN
running the program as an administrator
I've also tried deleting and re-installing windows c++ visual files AND
entirely disabling defender, still no luck

This is most likely caused by a lack of a "dual stack" connection. Dual stack lite is not the same. The root of the problem is probably not having a unique IPV4 connection or a lack of an ipv6 connection.
