While I dont think pillagers are that annoying, I'll definitly say this event is quite boring since the only thing it does is add enemies with arena-skinned gear to regular Tarkov.
And while I get that the event is for the new arena battle pass, the ref-tasks giving rep for him would still be nice considering hes the only trader that consistenly sells top-tier ammo and armor plates. Considering that he's kind of broken when it comes to that but also transferring loot to from Arena to regular Tarkov, having events like these to allow non-arena players to eventually get him to LL4 if they keep playing the event tasks would be fair enough, considering that they would still get locked out of Lega medals and Arena Loot, but gain access to the same ammo and armor supplies

See the thing is if there would be less incentive to "win" in Arena, and more incentive to just play the gamemode in general it could also help addressing the issue that Arena is incredibly sweaty because of a lot of people just playing it to help boost progression in regular EFT.
I think if Ref would have never existed in regular EFT in the first place, or not have arena exclusive rewards, Arena could be more fun in general because you would find less people with sweaty behavior who are just playing meta loadouts

There were another 50 AI on the map w me and when the Raid went close too end they all started rotating too some extraction point, and I decided to follow them, and all of a sudden there is some Purge like Horror creature flying and I just ran away from her

I followed the herd running to the extract and after the timer went off, the screen went black for a second and put you back in game bc that extract wasnt valid, and then a new one opened and all AI ran to the new extract and I followed them along past that purge creature and other AI and Players ran past us and there were gunfights and pure chaos
