If anything, ignore the difficulty, as every raid can be very easy, or very hard, at any time

Because thermals in this game are pretty damn strong for scouting, most fights are won simply by knowing where people are
As for price? So that people can't spam the living shit out of them. However, the biggest down side is they MUST be used with irons. You can't see through glass (that's normal).

Kill scavs and grab their guns and shoot them off helps attract them to ya, but it's hit or miss

Sometimes it's scavs, sometimes it's nothing

Or go in no gun and I was told you get some weird mark where the ai becomes really aggressive for no reason

Go in with a few contact nades and just load out climb from scavs if that aggro mechanic is a thing

Also imo, there is a better ammo route on woods than customs, with woods you have the camp before outskirts/side building, you have usec camp, abandoned village and between abandoned village and the extract. Also sturman stash has good ammo sometimes and the key isn't too expensive, like 150k so you could easily make the money back

There was a YouTube video I saw about it and the guy was leaving with like 60-180 rounds of diff ammo, all good rounds too

So either way you go, you start on a side with good spawns, to hit more spawns on the way to your extract, it's quite efficient

A friend of mine and I have found that PMCs end up wandering to certain POIs at specific times of the raid. Example: AI pmcs tend to wander to the woods secret bunker at around 22 minutes left in raid
