That depends from person to person, and the paths or countries involved. I'm currently doing a CTESP (Higher Professional Technical Course) in Cybersecurity. It's a two-year program—one and a half years of classes and a six-month internship. After that, I'm thinking about getting a Bachelor's degree in either Informatics Engineering or Network Engineering and Information Security, but everyone's choices are different.

Python is easy to learn. I usually watch YouTube videos or do exercises on some websites. I also like to ask AI to give me exercises and then check my work. Python is a very basic and easy language to learn compared to others.

I’d even show you the exercises I usually do, but they’re all in Portuguese, so it’s not really worth it lmao. But if you ask AI to create some for you, it will and on YouTube, there are thousands of people explaining everything from the basics to the most complex stuff. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend any specific channels to you because the ones I watch are in Portuguese :/

I actually use AI a lot for my studies, even on TryHackMe. My folders in Obsidian are organized and corrected by AI, for example. Asking AI for exercises usually works well for me. Sometimes it might give you more complex tasks or things we haven't learned yet, but with a bit more context, that stops happening, but start by watching YouTube first, don't skip any steps. Sometimes it seems simple, but programming is trick one missing period or semicolon and the program won't work. Watch the videos usually, they include exercises. Watch the exercise and then try to do it yourself afterward to see if you can. Take notes, either in a notepad or a notebook. Taking notes is the best thing you can do. You don't need to know everything, if you have a place to check things, it makes it much easier. With practice, you'll eventually do it automatically without needing your notes.

It still feels kind of weird that defender didn't catch an unsigned program calling cmd and making requests to external IP, but if it really doesn't get detected then good for you

Yeah basically because the IP Address and port is encrypted. So, idk why but maybe the Defender is made such that it flags a connection to be made to 192.168.0.xxx on port 4444, but not aFgrqvHV== on port XXXX==

Basically it's gettin' encrypted and it somehow worked so I kept it.

Hi all, if anyone would like to team up and learn consistently(daily) on tryhackme, untill this year end, once familiar with basics we can then move to HTB and work on some real CTF, dm is open if anyone is interested in doing it.

the reason I'm saying daily is because most new(beginner)people come to my inbox and they will have like a firey motivation to do everything on day 1(doing like 7 to 10 rooms) and completely giveup on day 7, i'm not interested in doing that.
