I'm more into cryptography and steganography. Not new to malware / virus stuff but then again, you could say I don't have a lot of experience with malware as I barely get any. In my 6 months as an apprentice workshop IT Technician, I had to clean a lot of computers infected by malware and viruses. One job particular which I remember very well was one of the guys on the team brought in a PC that he couldn't get rid of the malware (or was it Adware?). Took him 4 hours and I offered to help him, me being new at cleaning systems and not much experience. Took me an hour to clean and get rid of it. Lol. I also did my first complete data recovery from an overheating portable hard drive that may have been dropped and it took me 8 hours overnight with a fan running to keep it cool.

Now when I moved from a hdd to an ssd, I didn't really want to install everything all over again so I cloned everything from that hdd to the ssd - booted up just fine lol
