i kinda disagree with ur advice here. i use fedora for daily driving. i used to use arch before that so i'm fairly confident with using linux. so i don't really think using kali hampers my linux learning. but if u meant complete beginners, there are better ways to learn linux than installing kali packages in them.
why not just do otw bandit or something, or daily drive linux and get used to it that way over time

when it's someone who is just starting out, and does not feel comfortable with daily driving linux yet, my advice is solid, it's better for them to take it slow and start by learning how to install packages etc. using something like ubuntu for their attacking machine instead of kali, than just jumping directly into the deep end and daily drive it.
