so I read some of the messages above, I'll speak for my own experience, I started with HTB having no prior Linux knowledge - it was pretty difficult there and I found out about THM
dumped HTB and went over the big modules of THM, after a year of modules and practicing labs and so on, I decided to try HTB again and things go way smoother now
THM is way more beginner friendly and will teach you the very basics/foundational skills that you need to be able to pass sherlocks/labs at HTB, so my suggestion is to start with THM and once you get some experience, move to HTB for more advanced stuff

hey guys, I encountered a problem in the Gobuster room. Although i was able to fix it with some searching, i am not sure if i should report it or not. The problem was in the dnsmasq service, the room i am in told me to do some configurations in the dnsmasq files, but after doing those said configurations step by step i encountered a problem where the restart of dnsmasq.service would fail due to the listening port already existing (port 53).
