I think the main issue with trying to crack the switch 2 would be the EXPENSIVE failsafe that is bricking the entire device if it detects something is up during a vram check. If you're new to linux I'd start on a Debian-based OS'. If you're intermediate, go to arch or one of those ones. But at the end of the day it's all dependent on your preference. I would mostly daily drive arch, since I like that pacman's commands contain less keystrokes
