They ignored it, did what I told them not to do, it then broke a week later and they refused to give me a new laptop because I was out of warranty, I'd explained to them that under british law they still have to treat it as under warranty for the next 5 years and had to cite the exact section of the law, pass it on to their legal department etc. before I got a replacement laptop
