Today I got drowned in a room crackthe hash level 2 where it was intresting about learning how to create custom wordlists and using them to crack the hashes. But unfortunately during the journey i faced issues with some of python packet managent which made me unable to use certain tools like mentalist ttpassgen etc so now I need to re download and configure kali. If the teams feature on TryHackMe had a wider involvement on the website, I would be more inclined to add it to the Discord server. We will see what happens with future changes πŸš€

i made a personnel user account on the chromebook when i went back onto the mc2 user it hardwiped it meaning my linux and files app got fully wiped i have lost everything i have done on linux and i have lost about 100(+) downloads (including images and files i have made BY HAND and then saved via download not to mention dozens of other types of downloads this include dozens of mp3 and WAV files) i do not want to experience this again also the settings for changing download location have to be found with:
chrome://settings/downloads
in the google search bar if this is a setting you can make visible in the settings app please do this as it is extremely inconvenient and it took me over a half hour to finally fix it

@cunning zenith think as your OS as a house, and a docker as a box that have everything you need to do a task and since it's a box you can put it in your house without having to modify anything, and when you don't wanted anymore just remove the box and that's it. a VM is more a smaller house inside your house, in that environment you can modify thing without changing anything of the house you're living πŸ™‚
