I absolutely loved it. Jean-Francois is a fantastic instructor and loves to have a good time. The final CTF was a blast, as well. Managed to complete it with 20 minutes to spare! The GRTP exam, however, leaves a lot to be desired. I know they weren't too happy about it having no practical component. It's a 75 minute time crunch, but on some level forces you to either really know the stuff or have a stellar index

The other down side are the labs being available only during the training week, but I believe he is actively working on some automation scripts so you can stand up your own replica and re-do the labs after the class

GIAC's exam is not always representative of what the SANS course covered, most evident with red team oriented content. And like you said, a practical you would presume mandatory based on the subject at hand. 🤔 (Red Team Operations and Adversary Emulation)

I2P's an anonymizing network that's essentially exclusively just onion addresses and no clear-net exit points, which is entirely peer to peer so you're hosting traffic + dealing it out.

Key fun thing about it is due to the fact it's peer to peer, it works extremely well with torrenting protocols. Tor will disencourage you to use it on them, but I2P has it's own tracker and everything public
