In secondary school I got E then retook it again in college and got a D then in 2019/2020 went back into education and got a B equivalent. The uni I went to had an adult program where requirements were lax but the foundation year was basically an intense alevel speedrun

Yeah 😄 software is sloooowly catching up but in terms of VM stuff for x32_64 you can't escape that you have the overhead of emulating/translating the instructions. I'm on an M1 Macbook Pro. Sometimes I run into compile issues, or some obscure tool not working. Other than that it's been fine. I wouldn't go less than 32GB though

I'm not too clued up on mac minis but if it's an M4 chip, I've also read they've got a lot better with the architecture. Like how the jump from M1 -> M2 was really good. Not sure if that applies to M4 / mac-minis but 🤔

M4 and Pi5 are always ARM. Running ARM-based OSes in VMs on ARM are great, 32_64bit are really not so far in my experience.

Took about 3 hours to install x64 Win10 on fusion, and then the response time to open up the search bar on Windows was about 10 seconds

I also use Parallels. It's pretty seamless. No crazy response time issues like I have with VmWare on Windows
