I had similar issues with vmware, on beefy machine, tried everything I could think of and read online, what solved the issue was me for to revert back to win10 pro install and it works flawlessly

not sure what the root cause is with win11 and I don't care - gonna milk win10 until 2025 end of life then decide at that time what to do next
