Hi h have a question about security assesment i just did to SCCM/WSUS
If a company uses HTTP/HTTPS for the connect between Wsus to Windows Update Servers its consider to be vulnerablity because an attacker can accomplish man in the middle attack and there some CVE's for that issue.
It seems to be very strange for me that Microsoft will allow this type of protocol (HTTP) in the urls WSUS is redirected to - http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
For example.
Is that cosider to be safe ? Why that Microsoft will allow that.
If so every scrip kiddie will be able to capture the medium.
Please explain me if thats ok and if not what the organization should make sure he has in order to secure the medium.

If you want a VM you can actually update, I would recommend downloading the kali ISO file and installing in a hypervisor like Hyper-V, VirtualBox or VMWare Player.

but to answer your question and concern. The easiest and most used language to learn starting off is Python. with Python and Bash you'll be great

Remember that "hacking" isn't a sector of tech in and of itself. Hacking is having knowledge of other tech, and the experience / skill to make it do stuff that it shouldn't be doing.

Point being, if you can't code then you're going to be much weaker at appsec than you would be if you knew how to write software. If you don't undersand networking then you'll be much weaker at infrastructure testing. If you don't understand cloud from a development perspective then you'll be much weaker at cloud testing.
