That and the costs of providing the image (for example the AttackBox is about 25gb at the moment -- even storing that as an OVA It'd be quite a big size...plus the bandwidth to provide say ~8gb+ to users

A big problem is how often the AttackBox is changing (with all the updates I make & and much it evolves around the THM network itself)

theres one book called the hacker playbook , its really practical

another one is practical guide to pentestration testing

#

you can go for any of these

#

it really depends what type of pentesting

#

for mobile security , you have ways to hack mobile security

#

for web application those two ^^ and also theres 1 famous one called the web application hacker's hanbook

#

if you want to do it from scracth you have the basics of hacking and penertration testing but it has some theory in it

#

also , i would recommend you books are a waste when your learning about this stuff , like just imagine ..

books are a waste of time when your learning about computers man

#

how about reading stuff online .

they do everything from scratch apparently
