mm, I have tried just clearing the cache but it still never loads. I also tried logging in on my ipad but same issue. I thought maybe playing around with foxy proxy and burp suite during the room may have had some impact but I'm not sure.

Usually directorys that hold your assets, like js files, images etc. shouldn't be accessible. So check the source code, you will find a lot of files which are showing you the path in which they are stored in, try if you can access that directory directly within your browser

But I assume you don't see the "Certificate" button as you no longer can access the room page itself, so I guess you should have pressed that button while you still had access to that room. Not sure how to get your cert in that case, so maybe send an email to the support, letting them know that your Throwback sub has ended but you haven't generated your cert in time.

I have this problem for several machines when there is a web attack. The situation is: I have Kali Linux on VirtualBox, the VPN works - I see 10.10.10.10. When I have to load a page in the browser it hangs forever trying to "Looking up fonts.googleapis.com". It takes several minutes for it to load. Any click further in the site has the same loading problem. I am in HackPark right now. I had the same problem in Alfred and Steel Mountain. Also, sometimes the pages are not loading correctly, I had pages where the login part should have been in the middle and to me, it was in the left upper corner and overlapped and hard to complete. Any ideas? Thank you!

That’s not accurate at all, you don’t get bonus points for creating rooms.

There are two main reasons for differences in points on the site leaderboards:

• Blood points. Bloods are awarded to the users who complete the room first. Room creators are excluded from this to keep it fair (if they did steal the bloods from their own room, you can report it to [e-mail] but we usually catch them pretty fast)

• Point changes. Sometimes we change points on the site and this affects the leaderboards. This is because we do not update them site wide, only for users who answer questions after the point changes. This is why you sometimes see many people on rooms with 600+ points but you only get 100.

Another reason is due to bonus points in questions, but these are only on official THM rooms (to my knowledge) and it will be clearly stated that you will get bonus points for answering those questions.

If I remember correctly, the tutorial room has bonus points.

There’s also a few other reasons, such as settings being changed, but I’m not sure how that will show up on the leaderboards.

Which machine are you doing btw, so I could just try it myself. But in general, you could just cat the file contents, copy them and edit it on your own machine, after that just echo 'edited file contents' > file to overwrite the contents
