Hello, anyone know why the THM Attack machines are extremely slow? I am getting 15kb/s speeds when I used to get 1mb/sec+... Its nearly unusable, syntax takes nearly 10 seconds to fill the line after typing, fullscreening a window takes 6 seconds, it lags and stacks many inputs at a time, etc

Hi guys. I already asked help few days ago for a problem i was having with OpenVPN, giving me error in the "data cipher" line. So i thought the problem was my openvpn version that i had still installed (2.4.7), however even after updating my computer would still install that same version.

You might retry downloading the ovpn configuration, "AES-256-CBC" is a line that gets set in that file and imported to your vpn client; for whatever reason yours is trying to use a different set of ciphers

I have a complaint. i just completed "supposedly", introduction to Cyber Security. Completed attack on with attackbox answered the question correctly flag{connection_verified}. also answered the next set of questions correctly talking about career tracks either my path (Hacktivities) or structured learning paths. Now my dashboard says iI haven't completed anything. 😫 Also, the module in the Hacktivies is different than what the Path I was put on. I'm very frustrated. It's got to be some kind of glitch. I haven't used Nethunter in literally... 6 years, at least

In theory nethunter should be running like a VM with host detection, and should have drivers already inside for any "functional" chip that can go into monitor mode

If you plug it in and it just doesn't do anything, the chip in the card may not be recognized

"any card" won't work, you need cards with specific chipsets

preferably where the driver is floating around and can be modified to support putting the card into monitor mode

Support is very likely getting flooded with emails due to the AoC event, so you have to be patient.
They are probably not able to answer within 1 day, so just email once (as otherwise you will get placed at the beginning of the queue again) and wait for their reply, they will get to it.

The machine on the Snort room has a traffic-generator.sh file for generating traffic. I try to run as SU and keep getting an “error constructing proxy for org.gnome.Terminal” “error calling StartServicrByName” errors

If I run it as normal user I get “error creating child process tcprelay”
