probably has to do with the whole new update to the vpn as @glad oyster stated and a lot of people are having to regenrate their config due to the update and since a lot of people are all doing it at once it can technically be considered a ddos

I ran into the same problem with the attacker VM‌ and solved it as followes:
delete the two files listed in the bug report and install impacket again via "python setup.py install"
It worked afterwards.
Now I get a bug during the execution of the CVE script as follows:

module 'impacket.dcerpc.v5.rprn' has no attribute 'hRpcEnumPrinterDrivers'

If someone knows a solution please tell‌‌, it was also asked in the forum but there is no solution as far as I can see 🙂

Hi! I'm trying to use OpenVPN to connect to the target machine and complete the second Linux tutorial, but I'm having trouble

For one, I can only use the sudo openvpn ./CallmeCheese.ovpn command if I start a terminal by right clicking to start a terminal inside of the Downloads folder. Typing the full path throws an error.

But, even when I do get it working and connected, I don't know what to do from there, because it's just blank after the Initialization Sequence Completed line.

Am I supposed to just start typing commands into the blank terminal lines after that?

Do I start a new terminal window and type commands there?

And then, I tried entering the IP of the machine I'm trying to connect to into the search bar, cause a youtube tutorial said that should verify, but now I'm seeing this:

I'm running Kali in VMWare, I've had this issue before but didn't write down what fixed it, so annoying. I've tried to run the "VPN troubleshooting" script, It shows IP other than what I got in my tun0 interface. Also, I can ping that troubleshooting script IP but can not ping my tun0 IP from the thm machines

The 24h is the web based attackbox, all other machines, aka the ones you're trying to hack still only have 2 hours by default but you can extend the time, all the machines have extra power than a free machine

Good morning, I need some assistance but it's not related to any of the rooms on THM. Basically, I have a Gmail account and when I receive e-mails (not from all senders just a select few so far) it automatically sends a blank e-mail on my end that I never sent out. well that link goes by what ip you are currently connect to the internet with is stated as being located

so if you are using a vpn it will get the wrong result

Hi,
I'm trying the Blue room but I'm unable to get a meterpreter shell.
Whenever I run the exploit, metasploit says: 'Exploit completed, but no session was created.'
I am using manjaro as my host machine, connected to THM using openvpn and have the tun0 interface as the LHOST in metasploit. I have restarted both the host and target machines, added the THM VPN IP instead of LHOST but still no success.
I have searched about this issue on the internet too but did not find a workaround.

The exploit works fine when using Attackbox.

then it has a chance of picking up the student discount automatically or else you'll have to send a mail to support from your student email stating your account and that you'll like the student discount

before sending the mail start the subscription on the normal rate and it'll be counted for in the second month will be lower to make sure the right amount has been taken

You don't need the password for the file, just your password for sudo.

Hey. I need some help with my vpn connection. It's the first time I'm connecting to THM using the vpn. I am connecting using Linux. THM shows that I am connected and I can see in linux that I have the assigned ip address. However, I try to connect to the attack machine with ssh and it times out. When I use ping, it goes back to the command line right away with no output.

I was having trouble as well, the download worked from the "access" page found under your little avatar at the top right, the connect link on the room pages is broken as far as I can tell

Not surprisingly, the wget of the URL wants the user to login. So that is not a useful workaround. The outage is the redirect to the 404 Darth Vader screen.
