alright, i cleaned up the symbol a bit and made the colors on the ruby to be more in line with the cuts
its large enough to fit in the palm of your hand and used in Clairvoyance for the visual portion (tried to make the ruby resemble the eye component as it were)

First of all, yeah the arms are slightly different sizes lmao, but what stood out to me first is their left arm looks like someone put a bicep and a tricep on a bone, I get that they're supposed to be shredded but maybe add a little tissue between the bicep and tricep. Also I am not sure about their race but humans have 6 abs not 8

It is a lovely two-story house in a nice part of town… except for the noises. There’s the sound of something scratching in the walls. Always just at the edge of hearing, only loud when you sleep when it becomes an all-consuming cacophony until you spring awake, ears ringing in the silence. Something is in the walls, always seeming to be just out of reach and below. Below.
Into the basement the sounds bring us, where they cannot be any further below, right? The scratching, like a snake across rough wood, or perhaps just the scaly tail of a rat… Or many.
A small hole in the wall in the back room of the basement – a place for storing those things which are old, broken, scruffy, or simply forgotten. The hole leads behind the wall, a hollow between the basement framing and the stone and earth beyond. More little tunnels. Scratched earth. Foul smells.
And beady red eyes, possessed, evil, piercing. A cave-full in the dark.
The 1200 dpi versions of the map were drawn at a scale of 300 pixels per square and are 6,000 pixels (20 squares) wide. To use this with a VTT you would need to resize the squares to either 70 pixels (for 5′ squares) or 140 pixels (for 10′ squares) – so resizing it to either 1,400 pixels wide or 2,800 pixels wide, respectively.

So in the west marches I am running. We picked Strahd von Zarovich as one of our bad guys for totally non Ravenloft book release reasons.
In the setting several of the magical items are lost or destroyed so the group needs information on how to kill him extra dead. Especially on their last run in he turned one them into a vampire and is controlling them over a vast distance.
Enter our new NPC. A unique vampire and Oathbreaker Paladin of Zariel. Jander Sunstar.

This is my character and her boyfriend. They were originally half elf (him half Drow, her 1/4 Drow 1/4 high elf) but then some wild magic made them both kitsune, and these are their most humanoid forms. Further wild magic (DANG BARBARIAN...) gave them these adorable little horns. Definitely WIP.

Decided to draw my dragonborn paladin that I made last night but I'm gonna have to restart it because the arms were too skinny and I had already gone over the armour with a pen.
I had tried to make the arms properly chunky but just couldn't get it to work with the armour.

As rule of thumb save coloring till after you ink your lines. And only ink when you're happy with your lines.
I'm a traditional artist like you and often find myself unhappy with a line, making me erase it and draw it again.

This is his full backstory that I wrote at 2 am yesterday:
I was born into a relatively wealthy family 27 years ago. My family wasn't very close or caring and as such I never felt much of a connection to my parents. As I grew up, my parents began to put more and more expectations on me and would constantly measure my achievements to my siblings and other wealthy children my age. As this pressure began to mount more and more on me I decided that I had had enough and took all my possessions and left in the dead of night. I spent weeks on the road hitching rides on passing carriages and walking when there weren't any until one day I ran into a group of wandering paladins. They invited me to join them round their campfire and have a bite to eat and so I naturally took them up on their offer as I hadn't eaten in two days. After I had finished eating they asked me what I was doing on wandering the roads like I was, to which I told them my story. They understood my circumstances and offered to take me in for the time being and offered me a training position within their order, if I wanted it. I decided to take them up on their offer and joined the order. That lead to me growing up in the order of Helm, God of Protection and becoming a paladin within the order. After many years in the order I came upon a situation where I would have to brake one of my sacred oaths to Helm, God of Protection in order to save the lives of many innocent people and so, without hesitation, I helped those people but however was banished from my order for braking a sacred oath. Because of that situation, I had lost all faith in the gods and religions and vowed never to be mindlessly guided again.

Glaives are more a support weapon, for when you want to attack through allies. Angry paladin doesn't strike me as all that much for support, more for cleaving his foes to show he doesn't need the gods to wreak justice.

Hand drawn, but yes, drawn in Photoshop. I use no assets or anything, just a drawing tablet and a few brushes that I painstakingly created to emulate my hand-drawn-ink-on-paper style.
I do a mix of ink-on-paper and direct to digital for my work. Anything that's a commission goes direct to digital so I can make changes based on the client's requests. Really hard to make changes to an ink illo.
Although my first two Wizards of the Coast books both are ink-on-paper

Most of the top cartographers use digital media but hand-draw everything. Mike Schley, Jared Blando, Deven Rue, Alyssa Faden, and myself.
I did one commission for jim pinto that was ink on paper, and I had to keep drawing new sections and superimposing them in photoshop to adjust for his changes.

The trick with my maps for mini-scale use is to buy the DNDBeyond version, then take the maps to Staples and get them printed as Engineering Prints. $3-6 per map.

The price of engineering prints has doubled at Staples since gamers started using them. I printed the poster maps from my first D&D5e campaign (36" x 48") for $3 and change (Canadian) each. Now it is around $7-8

and then analysing everything about the artwork and all the circumstances that the artist faced when making it

the goldfish were cast in resin, then the 'water' was cast in two pours (to suspend the fishy), then the 'sand' is just cream-colored resin
